As the days passed, the weather finally cooled down and became somewhat cooler.
On the university's outdoor sports field, a group of energetic students were training in twos and threes.
After the physical education class ended, everyone dispersed. This was the last class of the day; there were no classes in the afternoon, and students were free to arrange their own activities.
The energetic boys, carrying basketballs, called on a few classmates to start their own activity. The girls, mostly with their own friends, went their separate ways.
Shi Jing was also one of the group. As soon as the class ended, she went straight to the steps on the side and took out her backpack.
Nan Zhuowen, Shi Jing's roommate who was a step behind, also found his backpack nearby.
While opening her backpack to find some water, she asked, "There's a performance at the South City Gymnasium tomorrow night. Xiao Xiao gave me a few tickets. Shall we go together?"

"Did Xiaoxiao give you the tickets? Is it for some event she's participating in?" Shi Jing also asked.
Since their last trip to the Great Wall, Shi Jing's dormmates and Qi Shuang's dormmates have gotten along quite well. However, Shi Jing didn't expect to receive free tickets; her first thought was that Jiang Xiaoxiao might be involved in some kind of business activity.
“Yes.” Nan Zhuowen chuckled, took a sip of water, and continued, “She said it was a fan concert organized by her friends in the entertainment industry, who gave her a lot of tickets. She messaged me and told us to go and join in the fun if we had time.”
Shi Jing nodded knowingly. Xiao Xiao had been in the entertainment industry for so many years and had quite a few friends in the industry. It was perfectly normal for her to give away tickets when her friends held concerts.
She happened to have nothing to do this week, so she simply agreed.
The others also found it interesting and agreed.
"Then I'll go back to Xiaoxiao now," Nan Zhuowen replied. "Shijing, will you come to school with us tomorrow, or shall we meet at the Nancheng Gymnasium?"
Shi Jing took out his phone and checked. It wasn't too difficult to get from the school to the South City Gymnasium via the elevated road, so he said, "I'll pick you up from school tomorrow. Let's go there early to avoid the evening rush hour, and have dinner nearby first."
