"Boss, Yun Shudai isn't very famous, so there's no selling point in filming her."
The photographer, holding his camera, looked at the scene on the terrace he had just captured outside and laughed, "In the entertainment industry, don't underestimate anyone. Things change every thirty years. Many big stars started from obscurity. I never would have thought that Yun Shudai, who appears innocent on the surface, is actually being kept by a sugar daddy. It's just that I'm not very familiar with this person."
"I think that person is unusual. We mustn't let him discover us."
"He's just an ordinary businessman. If he were a famous big businessman, we would know him. What's there to be afraid of?" It was just a coincidence that I saw him outside.
Unaware that their moment had been captured by a photographer, Yun Shudai was currently unable to fall asleep in bed.
I thought about sending a message to Lao He, but then I checked the time and realized it must be past midnight for her, so I decided against it.
Next, Bai Muyin took Yun Shudai to Maitu for two days, where they experienced the local customs and culture.
When we got back to Ye City, it was past 10 p.m.
Once home, he rushed into his spatial dimension. After waiting for a while, He Wan finally came in, still half asleep: "Old Yun, you're back."
He then hugged Lao Yun.
"Old He, I just got back. Look what I brought you!"
"What is this?" He Wan rubbed her eyes and saw a bag in front of her. She opened it and found a fluffy ear warmer and another bag that was not very conspicuous on the outside but full of fluffy gloves inside.
There was also a pair of cotton boots made of cowhide with lots of fur inside.
"You brought me all this when you went abroad?"
"Yes, the ones I came across by chance are all handmade, very sturdy, and no one can tell when you wear them."
"I thought it was food."
"It's hard to carry, but I brought you some chocolate. Is it snowing where you are lately?"
"It's stopped snowing, but it's still very cold. I reckon it'll snow again before the snow melts. So, how's things progressing between you and your friend?"
Yun Shudai blushed at her words: "You're so gossipy."
He Wan was a bit more energetic now. She yawned and lay down on the sofa: "Oh, I'm here now, and all I do is work, work, work. It's so boring. How can I not eat some melon to add some fun to my life?" After saying that, she turned to the side and said with a grin: "Don't you and your Mr. Bai feel like parched land that hasn't seen rain in a long time has suddenly been showered with sweet rain?"
Hearing her lewd words, Yun Shudai was immediately embarrassed and angry, saying, "Hey, He Wan, I rushed in as soon as I got back, thinking about you all the time, and you're still teasing me."
If it weren't for the fact that they couldn't hear each other inside and outside the space, He Wan would have been afraid of waking up the other educated youths in the row behind them. Knowing that she was angry, she quickly pulled her and said, "Okay, okay, I was wrong. I'll sleep with you tonight. It's really cold where I am. If I hadn't known you were coming back today and was afraid that your little assistant would come over, I would have been waiting for you in the room."
"Didn't you say the kang (heated brick bed) is very warm? You're so cold. I'll buy you a hot water bottle tomorrow."
"It's warm when the fire is burning, but when I fall asleep in the middle of the night, I can't add more firewood. When I wake up in the morning, it's cold. The windows are frozen, and the water tank inside is frozen."
We burned the house all day, and the water in the water tank thawed. We'd put half a pot of water in it, and it didn't matter if it froze the next day; we'd just boil it again. We didn't eat breakfast anyway. We didn't eat our first meal until around 10 or 11 or 12 at noon.
"Ah, two a day." Yun Shudai quickly checked the contents of the refrigerator; there were far fewer items left, but thankfully she had stocked up a lot for Lao He.
"Don't worry, I won't go hungry. I've had a bowl of porridge, steamed buns, and eggs every morning without fail. It's no wonder that we only eat two meals a day here. It's mainly because we don't go out all day long, so eating a lot makes it easy to gain weight."
