Chapter 232 Complaint from Neighbors

Yun Shudai shook her head: "An'an is in training at the company these past two days."

"Oh my god, it must be your Mr. Bai." Old He said and quickly hid.

Yun Shudai glanced through the peephole at the door and saw it was someone from the property management. She whispered to Lao He, "It's the property management. Should we try to see if they can see you?"

He Wan said, "Will this work? I have traces of my life; they can't not see me, can they?"

Yun Shudai also said, "If you can't see it, then you don't need to be so careful in the future."

What if we could see it?

"So what if they see it? The property management staff don't know me."

"You drive."

Yun Shudai put on a mask and opened the door, but the door was only opened a crack.

The property management staff member who was originally standing in front was pulled to the back by two middle-aged women behind her, who stuck one foot into the crack of the door and looked at her with wary eyes: "Quick, hurry up, don't let her close the door."

Yun Shudai frowned, and the door opened directly: "Auntie, what do you want?"

The two women didn't answer. They looked through her into the house and pointed to the bicycle and fabric inside. They didn't see the rice and flour from before. Apart from a little girl in tattered clothes, there was nothing else.

He looked at the property management office behind him with a moment of awkwardness.

The property management staff naturally saw what was inside; there was no pyramid scheme or anything like that.

So he smiled awkwardly at Yun Shudai and said, "I'm sorry, we recently received complaints from our neighbors that you're bringing a lot of things into your house in the middle of the night, and they suspect you're doing something illegal."

Yun Shudai raised an eyebrow, glanced at the two aunties in front of the door, and asked if there was anything she didn't understand.

"I'm sorry, I'm a food vlogger, so I use a lot of ingredients. The wholesale market is cheaper at night, so I like to go there to buy supplies at night. I'm really sorry if this disturbs the neighbors. I will try to be more careful in the future."

The property staff said with a smile, "It's alright, we were just worried. Since it's a misunderstanding, it's good that everyone has talked it out. We apologize for the sudden visit."

The two aunties were also surprised by this, and laughed, "We also had our suspicions. The surveillance footage showed that you bought so much food that one person couldn't possibly finish it all."

Yun Shudai quickly explained, "I'm a bit of a homebody, I have a big appetite, and I like to hoard things."

The others murmured "oh"s, basically understanding, but another auntie looked at He Wan inside and said, "Why is she dressed like that? This..."

Yun Shudai and He Wan exchanged a glance without making it obvious, and then she explained to them, "This is my cousin. She works at the theater and has recently been rehearsing a period drama. So, I bought her some period items, like a bicycle and a sewing machine, all for her to use as props."

The group made a few more "oh" sounds, then left awkwardly.

Yun Shudai and He Wan finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"Old He, come and see if we can get out of here?"

He Wan reached out her hand and was instantly shocked by the electric shock: "No, I'll get shocked if I open the door too."

Yun Shudai quickly closed the door and said, "But they can see you."

"Yeah, it seems we need to be more careful in the future. And you, we need to make money quickly to buy a villa. Dragging so much stuff like this will definitely arouse suspicion."

"Yes, I need to work harder." The two said, putting the items into their spatial storage. She had originally planned to go to the wholesale market every day for the next few days, but now she didn't dare to go.
