While Yun Shudai was still in shock at the unassuming wine, Bai Muyin was already looking at the copper plate with the "Safe Travels" inscription and the two copper coins.
After putting down what she was holding, she smiled and pointed at the items, saying, "Your best friend didn't say who she asked you to sell them to, did she?"
Yun Shudai shook her head: "My sister helped me contact Brother Song before. I only know him because he collects old items. Of course, my dad knows a lot of people too. I plan to ask my dad to help me find someone with this copper piece and these two copper coins."
As soon as Yun Shudai finished speaking, Bai Muyin pulled her onto his lap: "Why bother Uncle Yun? Your Mr. Bai can take them all for you."
Yun Shudai blinked: "You...really want to?"
She hadn't thought much of it before, but now that he's her boyfriend, she feels she's doing Mr. Bai a disservice. After all, these were the grains that Lao He traded for. Selling them to others would be fine, but this whole thing is like selling them to his own people.
"Give the two bottles of Wuliangye that Dad prepared, and I'll keep the rest for your best friend. By the way, what's your best friend's name?"
"Her name is He Wan, and she was my high school classmate."
"Okay, tell me, how much money do you want?"
Yun Shudai laughed: "You think you can ask for an exorbitant price?"
"If others can't, you can." As Bai Muyin spoke, he deliberately leaned close to her ear, his warm breath brushing against her ear and his cheek very close. When she turned her head, his lips brushed against her cheek and he kissed her.
From her cheeks to her cherry-red lips, and finally to those large, slender hands that began to wander upwards, ever upwards.
Just as the two were about to lose their temper, the doorbell suddenly rang.
At this moment, Yun Shudai's almost limp body was firmly supported in Bai Muyin's strong arms.
"Is anyone there? Your package has arrived."
Yun Shudai took a few deep breaths before calling out, "Someone's here." She was about to get up and go to the door when Bai Muyin stopped her, saying, "I'll go." His voice was still a little hoarse.
When the other person got up, she covered her face shyly, realizing she had been careless; a date between two people shouldn't be at home, especially when they're alone together.
Once she calmed down, Bai Muyin handed her a document: "Yours."
Yun Shudai glanced at the address and laughed, "This is the painting competition I participated in that I told you about last time. I won first prize." As she spoke, she opened the package, handed him the certificate inside, and said with particular pride, "I'm amazing, aren't I?"
"Impressive, I must give you a gift to encourage you." He said, taking an exquisite box out of his pocket and handing it to her: "Open it and see."
Yun Shudai opened the box under his expectant gaze, and inside was a beautiful, multicolored agate bracelet wrapped in gold.
Do you like it?
"It looks great, I like it."
Bai Muyin wasn't good at choosing gifts, and these were all recommended by the shop assistant. However, looking at her charming smile, he felt it was worth the purchase and put it on her wrist for her.
The two lingered at home for a while longer before going out for dinner. Bai Muyin didn't drop them off at home until after nine o'clock.
As soon as she got home, He Wan looked around the refrigerator to make sure Bai Muyin was gone for good before she came out and winked at Yun Shudai in a teasing manner.
Yun Shudai was too lazy to let her gossip, and instead excitedly told her about the things her Mr. Bai had collected.
“Mr. Bai gave me fifteen million directly, fifteen million, Lao He.”
He Wan almost choked on her saliva when she heard the number: "Huh, how much?"
"Fifteen...million."
"Wow, which one is valuable?"
“Eighty-six hundred thousand copper coins, and that unremarkable wine, which cost one million four hundred thousand. The most expensive one, that copper piece you swiped, he said was something to bring good fortune and ward off evil spirits, and he gave me twelve million directly. He said the transfer fee was too high, so he gave me a card.”
"Twelve million? Wow, the novels didn't lie to me. I knew my luck wouldn't be bad. What's there to worry about now? Old Yun, hurry up and look at houses, buy a villa."
