Chapter 315 Unable to Contact Lao He

After seeing the masters off, Yun Shudai quickly closed the gate and entered the garage.

Mu Yin said there was also a surveillance camera in the garage. She glanced at it a few times and then unplugged the garage camera.

I walked up to the refrigerator, took a deep breath, and silently said: Open the door.

When the misty scene reappeared before her, Yun Shudai's eyes immediately reddened, and she excitedly went inside.

The familiar space, yet two days have passed, it feels like a lifetime ago.

Yun Shudai waited for Lao He in the sofa in the space for half an hour before she came in.

"Old He, why are you so slow?"

He Wan put down what she was holding and said, "The weather has gotten colder these past few days, and there are a lot of patients at the clinic, so I'm helping out there."

Yun Shudai said, "Why didn't you reply to the messages I sent you these past two days? I thought the space was invalid."

He Wan shrugged and said, "Old Yun, the phone will run out of battery in the space."

"Um?"

"Really." He Wan said, handing her her phone, which was immediately black.

"Wow, I thought we didn't need to charge in the space. Luckily, everything's fine now. Come on, Lao He, let's take a look at our new home."

He Wan was pulled out of the space by Yun Shudai, and what she entered was a shoe and hat storage room.

There are three doors here: one that just opened faces the garage, and another that faces the basement corridor.

He Wan stood beside the newly opened door, carefully scanning it with her hand. Finding no electric shock, she confidently slipped through twice and smiled at Yun Shudai, saying, "Old Yun, you can get through here."

Then he went to another door: "That works too."

Then there's the door next to the front door, which is also accessible.

Yun Shudai laughed: "If you can pass through these doors, it proves you can come and go freely in this building." She pointed to the main entrance of the house and said: "Old He, try this one."

He Wan looked at the gate and shook her head timidly: "Let's not go, we'll definitely get electrocuted."

How will you know if you don't try?

Finally, at Yun Shudai's urging, He Wan bravely touched the handle of the front door, only to be bounced back as soon as she touched it: "Ah."

"Old He, are you alright?"

"Old Yun, this electricity is much stronger than the electricity you get over there."

Yun Shudai sighed in disappointment: "It seems we can't go out."

Then the two tried the backyard and the side gate, but that didn't work either.

In the end, they gave up and took Lao He to visit the first floor, the basement.

Second floor and third floor.

"Old He, which room do you like?"

He Wan said, "I will only stay on the basement floor from now on, so as not to cause you any unnecessary trouble by staying up there."

Yun Shudai remained noncommittal: "I live here alone, what trouble could I possibly be in?"

He Wan said, "Your boyfriend, Lao Bai, has such a big house. Aren't you planning to hire a housekeeper to help you manage it? And you have two assistants who come over from time to time. People's lives always leave traces, so we should be careful."

This basement level, which is actually the first floor, wow, living room, bedroom, laundry room, media room, gym—it couldn't be better!

Yun Shudai agreed, as everything was complete.

Today is the first day of our stay, and Lao He is back again. The two of them are very happy. Yun Shudai specially drove to a nearby supermarket to buy hot pot ingredients.

The two of them watched TV, ate hot pot, and even drank a little wine in the basement.

When Bai Muyin called her, she was dazed and confused.

Bai Muyin on the other end of the phone frowned slightly: "Have you been drinking?"

"Yes. Today is my first day in my new home, I'm so happy."

Bai Muyin chuckled softly on the other end of the phone: "Drinking alone? Why didn't you call me? I would have kept you company."

Fortunately, Yun Shudai hadn't drunk herself into unconsciousness, otherwise she might have easily given herself away. "...Hmm..."

"Shushu, I have to go on a business trip to another city tomorrow."

"Oh, I was thinking of inviting you over for a meal."

"I'll go when I get back."

How many days will it take?

"Half a month."
