Chapter Fifteen: Old Yun Can Get In

She went on a trip with her sister and brother-in-law for more than two months, seeing the ocean and mountains, and experiencing different cultures and customs. This was the happiest trip she had ever taken in her life, and the pent-up emotions left in the book slowly dissipated.

When I left, it was April or May; when I returned, Ye City was in the sweltering heat of summer.

She left with one suitcase, and came back with three full suitcases filled with all sorts of fun things and beautiful clothes, all bought while traveling. For example, in Thailand, she saw a lovely wedding dress with a very long and ethereal veil. It only cost a little over two thousand yuan. It wasn't a high-end designer's custom-made piece, but it was the perfect wedding dress in her heart. She hadn't gotten married in the real world, but here, she was determined to find a good man to marry.

After packing my luggage, I took a shower and wanted to eat something simple. When I opened the refrigerator, I found that the instant noodles I had before were gone, and I couldn't open the container of the steaming instant noodles that I used to have.

Yun Shudai didn't insist. She went downstairs and bought milk, bread, instant noodles, apples, bananas, and whole wheat toast.

After two months of settling down, the buzz surrounding her affair with the other woman faded. But she couldn't just stay idle like that forever; she had to go to work and earn money, she couldn't just sit around and do nothing.

As she was thinking about this, she went upstairs, opened the refrigerator and put a few things in. After a while, nothing happened. She closed the refrigerator and was about to open it again when she received a phone call.

"Shushu, are you home yet?"

"Mom, I've been home for a while. I just went downstairs to buy some food. Open the door and come inside."

Yun Shudai is getting more and more used to calling her that. While tilting her head and holding the phone between her legs, she unintentionally opened both refrigerator doors.

The next second, the ordinary refrigerator suddenly turned into a cloud of mist. If I thought I was seeing things last time, what about this time?

Shocked, Yun Shudai closed the refrigerator door, took a deep breath, and then opened both doors.

This time it was just an ordinary refrigerator; I put the things I just bought inside, and it looked just like any other refrigerator.

His brows furrowed so deeply they almost formed mountain peaks, yet he still couldn't figure it out, muttering to himself, "What exactly is wrong?"

"Shushu, what are you saying?"

"Oh, what's wrong with Mom?"

I said, "I'll come back tomorrow and stay for two days."

"Oh, great, I brought a lot of gifts for my parents."

"Okay, you should get some rest first."

"Okay, goodnight, Mom."

After hanging up the phone, Yun Shudai thought about it carefully. There was something to it all: what she said or did.

Yes, the refrigerator door was opened at the same time, twice in total. The first time was when she first came in, and she didn't know what she did or what she said at that time.

Yun Shudai recalled her actions and words just now.

After trying more than a dozen times, I finally managed to open the fog door. When I was about to open both refrigerator doors at the same time, I said the word "open door".

The first time she spoke, she seemed to have said something like "open the door," and she repeated those words when she was on the phone with her mother just now.

Looking at the swirling white mist, I reached out and grabbed it. The mist, like silk, formed a ribbon in my hand, and then vanished into the air in a moment. I had actually encountered this magical and fantastical situation.

I hesitated at the door for a long time before finally mustering the courage to go inside.
