Chapter 135 Reunion with Yang Liu

Hearing this, Sang Yun frowned even more. She looked at Yang Liu and firmly uttered two words: "I'm not afraid."

Yang Liu smiled, then shook her head self-deprecatingly: "Thank you, young master. I'm already very happy that you've told me so much."

After saying that, she forcefully broke free from Sang Yun's hand and jumped into the river in front of her.

Sang Yun was caught off guard and she managed to break free.

"Thump!"

Seeing Yang Liu's body hanging straight down, Sang Yun jumped in without thinking and completely forgot that she couldn't swim at all.

Yang Liu was waiting for him to save her, but after a few seconds she didn't see him. She couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. Just as she was about to quietly move away, she heard a splashing sound above her.

She floated up a little and saw Sang Yun struggling incessantly.

She frowned, and just as she was debating whether or not to save him, she noticed a waist tag on his waist.

Yang Liu smiled and swam to his side, grabbing his hand. Sang Yun felt the pull and slowly opened his eyes, only to see Yang Liu's face gradually enlarging in front of him. He didn't realize what was happening until he felt a cold, soft touch on his lips.

He stared wide-eyed in disbelief at Yang Liu's sweet almond-shaped eyes.

The next second he felt himself come back to life, because Yang Liu was actually breathing on him.

Feeling that he was feeling a little better, Yang Liu pulled him directly towards the shore. Sang Yun watched Yang Liu the whole time, his mind completely blank.

He only realized what had happened when he got to the shore, and his face immediately turned red.

He clasped his hands in a gesture of embarrassment towards Yang Liu and said, "Thank you, young lady."

Yang Liu shook her head, her eyes crinkling with laughter: "Why did you save me if you can't swim?"

Sang Yun became even more embarrassed by her question. He lowered his head and coughed lightly twice: "I can't watch the girl die in front of me."

"Cough cough cough, cough cough." Yang Liu was about to say something when she started coughing.

Sang Yun glanced at her and said, "I'm really sorry, miss. Where do you live? I'll take you home."

His words seemed to have struck a nerve with Yang Liu, and tears streamed down her face.

"Girl, what's wrong? Hey, don't cry, let's talk this out."

Sang Yun panicked immediately. He was flustered and didn't know what to do. After he came of age, he had been following Long Jingyu in military campaigns and had hardly ever been in contact with women. Even Sang Ruo, who was close to him, rarely cried in front of him.

Yang Liu sobbed as she spoke, "I... I have no home anymore, sob sob sob. My father died, and they drove me away, sob sob sob."

"Um, young lady, please stop crying." Sang Yun was pacing anxiously. He turned around and saw the inn next door, his eyes lighting up. He looked at Yang Liu and said softly, "If you still trust me, young lady, why don't you stay at this inn with me for a few days? I may be staying in Yancheng for a few days."

Yang Liu raised her eyes, her almond-shaped eyes wide open, staring at Sang Yun in disbelief.

Just when Sang Yun thought she was going to refuse, she spoke up: "Young master saved me. If I didn't trust you, wouldn't that be a bit petty of me? But wouldn't that be too much trouble for you?"

Sang Yun smiled and waved her hand hastily at him: "It won't be a problem, I have some things to take care of here anyway."

"In that case, I'll have to trouble you, young master."

After Yang Liu finished speaking, she lowered her head and followed behind him.
