When the Third Madam entered, she noticed that everyone's expressions were not good, so she quickly pulled Sang Yan aside, gave her a curtsy, and stood to the side.
"Sit down," Sang Hongfu said, looking at the mother and daughter.
"Thank you, sir." The third madam quickly thanked him and pulled Sang Yan down to sit.
"You can all leave now," Sang Hongfu waved to the others.
The maids, servants, and guards filed out, leaving Yang Liu standing there, unsure whether to stay or leave.
If she left, it would be tantamount to admitting that she was a servant. If she didn't leave, the people at the table had no intention of keeping her. Just as she was thinking about how to break the deadlock, Zhuzhu suddenly turned around, grabbed her, and pulled her out.
Once outside the door, Zhuzhu spoke to Yang Liu without waiting for her to react: "Miss Yang, the master wants to discuss some family matters. It must be quite inconvenient for you inside. Why don't I take you back to rest first?"
Yang Liu gritted her teeth, glanced at her, and said with a light laugh, "What you say is true, Miss. Thank you, Miss. I will wait here for you, Young Master. I will be worried if you can't see me."
Zhu Zhu pursed her lips: "Please go ahead, Miss Yang."
After saying that, he stepped aside and ignored Yang Liu.
Yang Liu was so aggressive towards her because she had seen it clearly inside; she was that young lady's maid.
The way that cousin looked at Sang Yun was clearly different. Women understand women best, and as a woman herself, how could she not understand what she meant?
Meanwhile, inside the house.
Sang Hongfu looked at the group of people at the table and sighed slightly: "I called everyone here today mainly because there is something I want to tell you all."
Upon hearing Sang Hongfu's words, everyone looked up at him.
"Sang Jiang is not actually a child of our Sang family."
Upon hearing this, everyone present, except for the First Madam, gasped.
"What do you mean by that, Father? Isn't Fourth Sister Fourth Sister?" Sang Yun was a little shocked.
What's going on with this fourth sister not being the fourth sister?
After hearing his words, everyone snapped out of their daze and turned their attention to Sang Hongfu.
Sang Hongfu knew that he could no longer hide this matter, so he sighed slightly and told the truth about what happened back then.
Upon hearing Sang Hongfu's words, Sang Rui lowered her eyes, her gaze filled with a fierce intensity.
I thought that losing Sang Jiang was just a passing phase, but who knew that after going around in circles, she would become a princess of Xifeng Kingdom.
Why? Why does she get all the good things?!
But so what? As long as she holds onto Prince Tianyi, she will still be the Prince's Consort.
Only after thinking about this did she breathe a slight sigh of relief.
"I never imagined that my fourth sister would be a princess of the Western Phoenix Kingdom..." Sang Yan murmured.
Upon hearing this, Sang Rui roared like a lion with its mane bristling, "So what if she's a princess! Does being a princess make you so great? What has she given you that makes you so treacherous?"
"I!" Sang Yan was speechless for a moment, caught off guard by her words, and swallowed hard before the words spilled out.
Sang Hongfu glanced at her and shouted at Sang Rui, "Enough! What's all the fuss about! Instead of arguing here, you should think about how to protect the Sang family!"
Everyone lowered their heads and fell silent immediately after she shouted that.
"The Imperial Concubine said a couple of days ago that the Emperor is very angry about this matter. If he really blames us for deceiving the Emperor, it would be punishable by the extermination of our entire family. Who are you to argue about it?"
"What's the use of scolding Rui'er? What are we going to do now?" The First Madam pulled Sang Rui into her arms.
