Chapter 251 You Must Marry the Person You Love

Sang Jiang opened one eye and glanced at her. Seeing that she was really in pain, she simply sat up and said, "Why make things difficult for yourself if you don't want to go?"

Nangong Luoying smiled and said, "Sister, I don't know why. I haven't had much contact with Lord Zhang, so why do I feel so bad after being rejected by him? Now, when I see him, my heart aches. I feel like I can't be with him in this life, so it doesn't matter who I am with."

She sniffed and took a deep breath: "Royal sister, do you know? Originally, the person who was supposed to go for the political marriage was you, but... never mind... it doesn't matter anymore. Royal sister, you must marry a man you love in the future."

Sang Jiang looked at her, somewhat unable to understand. She didn't think she could fall in love with anyone here. It wasn't that she didn't love, but that she didn't dare, because she knew better than anyone that this was a completely fictional world.

She smiled but didn't say anything.

Nangong Luoying's tears flowed down her cheeks again. She leaned on Sang Jiang's lap and whispered, "Royal sister, after I'm gone, could you help me take care of Mother? Father has always doted on you, so if you ask, he will definitely agree."

Sang Jiang nodded slightly. She knew perfectly well that Nangong Luoying had gone to marry in her place. But now, she couldn't bring herself to tell Nangong Luoying, like a saint, that she didn't need to go and that she would go herself.

She gently patted Nangong Luoying's back, and Nangong Luoying fell asleep on her stomach after crying enough.

Sang Jiang glanced at Chunhe and gestured for her to take Nangong Luoying away. Chunhe nodded and carried her to the bed.

Sang Jiang glanced at her a few times to make sure she was asleep, then took out the book "The Cunning General's Little Princess 2" and continued writing.

There was nothing she could do but try her best to satisfy her before she left.

Chunhe remained quietly watching beside her.

Sang Jiang finished writing the second book when it was just getting light the next day. She looked at Nangong Luoying and put the book next to her. Then she quietly climbed into the book and fell asleep.

Nangong Luoying went to bed early and woke up quite early as well. Sang Jiang had just fallen into a deep sleep when she woke up. She reached out and touched what looked like a book next to her. Nangong Luoying guessed what it was. She turned her head in surprise and sure enough, she saw a book next to her pillow.

Nangong Luoying's eyes immediately curved into a smile. She didn't even bother to put on her clothes before grabbing the book and going to the soft couch next to her to read.

When Ying'er came in, she saw that her princess was reading with great interest, so she quickly grabbed a coat and draped it over her, then sat down next to her and started reading as well.

Chunhe watched the two of them crying their eyes out and couldn't help but laugh silently.

Thinking about the look Sang Jiang gave her yesterday, the look that seemed to say she was an idiot, she wanted to crawl into a hole and disappear.

By the time Sang Jiang woke up, they had already seen most of it.

She glanced at the two people crying like idiots and walked right past them.

"Royal sister, waaaaah!" Nangong Luoying reluctantly put down the book in her hand, wiped away her tears, and looked up at Sang Jiang: "I'm going to be married off in three days. Before I leave, royal sister, could you please buy me that last copy? Waaaaah..."

Sang Jiang: ...

Can she refuse?

She glanced at Nangong Luoying a few times and finally nodded.

There are only three days left, so just bear with it.

Upon seeing her nod, Nangong Luoying excitedly jumped up from the soft couch.

Ying'er quickly got up and helped her up: "Princess, be careful."

Nangong Luoying waved at her: "It's okay, keep watching."
