Chapter 298 Sang Rui fainted

"This matter cannot be left to Yun Siqing to handle so easily, Rui'er, listen to me..."

After she finished speaking, Sang Rui nodded in agreement. She stood up and curtsied to the First Madam: "Mother, I'll go right away."

The First Madam nodded: "Alright."

After she finished speaking, she instructed Cuiping, "Go and bring me the veil."

Once Cuiping retrieved the veil, Sangrui put it on and left Furong Garden, heading towards Lanruo Mountain. When she reached the foot of the mountain, she found a shady spot to sit down.

Aya rushed up the mountain to find out what was going on for her. By now, the morning glow on Lanruo Mountain had faded, and if nothing unexpected happened, Long Tianyi and Yun Siqing were already on their way down the mountain.

Sure enough, Aya had only reached halfway up the mountain when she saw the two people coming down from afar. Long Tianyi stayed by Yun Siqing's side the whole time, saying things to cheer her up.

Aya didn't dare look any longer and quickly turned around and ran down the mountain.

Upon receiving Aya's signal, Sang Rui quickly knelt in front of a temple on the only way down the mountain. When Long Tianyi and Yun Siqing passed by, she suddenly fainted.

Aya was terrified. She quickly ran outside for help, shouting as she ran towards Long Tianyi. Just then, Long Tianyi happened to be passing by.

When Aya saw him, it was like seeing a savior. She immediately knelt down beside Long Tianyi's legs and cried out, "Young Master, please save my young lady! Something has happened to her!"

Long Tianyi was shocked the moment he saw Aya. When he heard the words "son-in-law," his face darkened immediately. He subconsciously glanced at Yun Siqing and breathed a slight sigh of relief when he saw that she had no expression.

He helped Aya up and asked unhappily, "What's wrong with your young lady?"

Hearing his address, Aya paused. In the past, Long Tianyi always addressed Sang Rui as Rui'er. When had he ever said something like "your young lady"?

She cried and said, "Young master, my young lady said she was going to pray for your blessings, but she fainted while kneeling."

There were still some feelings involved. When Long Tianyi heard that Sang Rui had fainted, his heart tightened. But when he thought of Yun Siqing, he hesitated. He subconsciously turned around and glanced at Yun Siqing.

Yun Siqing received his gaze and said calmly, "Since the young master has other matters to attend to, I will not disturb you any longer. Farewell."

After saying that, she led her maid away.

She really didn't like Long Tianyi at all. If it weren't for her old man forcing her to come, she wouldn't have even seen him. Now she finally had a reason to get away.

She looked at her clothes with a sense of irritation and walked toward the city center.

She had liked men's clothing since she was a child, but after returning this time, her father forced her to wear women's clothing to see Long Tianyi.

As Long Tianyi watched her leave, he was about to call her back when Aya knelt down again and hugged his leg: "Your Highness, please save my young lady! She has been so worried about you lately that she has lost her appetite. She got up early this morning to kneel here and pray for you. Please go and see her."

Long Tianyi pursed his lips, looked at the growing crowd around him, suppressed his displeasure, and helped Aya up: "Don't cry, I'll go see."

It wasn't that he disliked Sang Rui lately; it was just that he knew what he wanted, and if he wanted to gain something, he had to give up something else.

Sang Rui has always been deeply devoted to her. Although he is cold to her now, she will return to his arms after a while if he coaxes her.
