Chapter 315 Rong'er, are you willing to come with me?

Zheng Yigeng looked at her for a long time before finally grasping her hand and saying, "Rong'er, listen to me, do you believe me?"

The First Madam looked at his determined eyes and nodded: "Brother Zheng, please speak."

Zheng Yigeng patted her hand and whispered, "Rong'er, would you like to come with me?"

The First Madam's pupils widened instantly: "You mean..."

“Yes!” Zheng Yigeng nodded firmly: “It’s better to risk our lives than to sit and wait to die.”

The First Madam looked at her for a moment, then hesitated before asking, "Brother Zheng, what should I do?"

Zheng Yigeng: "Rong'er, with your help over the years, I've accumulated quite a bit of savings. With yours, it's enough for us to live comfortably for the rest of our lives. If you're willing, I'll take you with me."

The First Madam watched him slowly lower his head.

If she leaves, she'll be nothing.

And what about her Ruier?

She looked up at Zheng Yigeng with teary eyes and shook her head: "No, Brother Zheng, what will happen to our Rui'er if I leave? Her life will be over if I leave."

Zheng Yigeng held her hand with one hand and lifted her chin with the other, speaking softly: "Rong'er, listen to me. Our Rui'er is now carrying the child of Prince Tianyi. No matter what, Prince Tianyi will not disown his own child, and the old prince will not let this child wander outside."

"But..." The First Madam wanted to say something more, but Zheng Yigeng simply shook off her hand.

"Could it be that you're reluctant to give up your prestigious title as the Prime Minister's wife?" His tone was very unpleasant, clearly showing his impatience.

The First Madam, having her thoughts exposed, quickly pulled him aside and began to explain, "No, Brother Zheng, please listen to me!"

Zheng Yigeng looked at her and said coldly, "Since that's not it, what are you still hesitating about?"

The First Madam was so provoked by him that she didn't know what to say for a moment. She gritted her teeth and nodded to Zheng Yigeng: "Okay."

Anyway, Sang Hongfu wouldn't welcome him if he stayed, so he might as well fight to the death.

Zheng Yigeng grinned when he saw her nod. He wiped away the tears of the First Madam and said with a smile, "I knew my Rong'er was the most sensible. You'll be like this later..."

After he finished speaking, the First Madam slowly nodded: "Okay."

The two got up and walked out of Lanyuan one after the other.

As soon as the First Madam left, she went straight to her own Hibiscus Garden.

Zheng Yigeng also went straight to his backyard.

The Prime Minister's residence was in an uproar because of Yang Liu's matter, and no one was paying attention to the two of them anymore.

After ransacking the Hibiscus Garden, the First Madam gave all her savings to Zheng Yigeng.

Zheng Yigeng took the package the First Madam had given him, shook it, and asked softly, "Is everything here?"

The First Madam nodded: "They're all here."

Zheng Yigeng's lips suddenly parted into a wide smile. He slung the backpack over his shoulder and looked at the First Madam, saying, "Rong'er, wait for me to come and get you."

After saying that, he turned around and walked out without looking back.

As the First Madam watched his departing figure, her eyes reddened once again.

She looked around the Prime Minister's residence, but soon this place had nothing to do with her anymore.

I just wonder if her children will be heartbroken after she's gone, or if they will feel ashamed to have a mother like her.

She wasn't a good mother; she was sorry to them. But she was forced into this situation by their good father; she had no other choice.

Thinking of this, she wiped away her tears and turned to walk into Sang Hongfu's courtyard...
