She was so overwhelmed by the passionate kiss that she felt weak all over, and the lack of fresh air for a long time made her fair and delicate face turn bright red.
Long Jingchen looked at the glistening moisture on her cherry lips and subconsciously licked his own lips.
"You scoundrel!" Sang Jiang gritted her teeth.
Long Jingchen looked at her in a particularly good mood after he had eaten and drunk his fill.
Sang Jiang grew angrier the more she thought about it; this man had been getting increasingly handsy with her lately.
She thought for a moment, looked at him, and said, "But I have conditions."
"What are the conditions?" Long Jingchen asked seductively, twirling a strand of her hair.
"Don't you dare touch me like that! You're not allowed to touch me without my permission!" Sang Jiang glared at him and said.
Looking at Sang Jiang's determined eyes, Long Jingchen thought for a moment and nodded slightly: "Okay, I agree. But at least let me hug you. After all, you're the one I married through proper channels. If I can't even hug you, wouldn't I be losing out?"
"No way!" Sang Jiang refused without even thinking.
That's what this man said last time, and he ended up taking advantage of me in various ways. I can't agree to things like that so easily again.
Long Jingchen chuckled. The little girl has become quite clever. He looked at Sang Jiang and casually patted her head: "Alright, it's fine if you don't want to hug me, but you can't refuse if I want you to stay overnight."
Sang Jiang rolled her eyes at him and slapped his hand away: "Fine! But you're not allowed to touch me without my permission!"
Long Jingchen nodded, thinking to himself: Just because I don't touch you doesn't mean you can't touch me.
Seeing him nod, Sang Jiang struggled and jumped off him: "Alright, I need to rest now, so you're not allowed to touch me!"
As she spoke, she walked directly to the bedside.
Long Jingchen pouted and followed behind her.
Sang Jiang frowned, turned around, and looked at the man who had been following her. She asked impatiently, "Why are you following me?"
Long Jingchen blinked innocently: "I need to rest too."
Sang Jiang: ...
Her brows furrowed even more: "Go back to your Chengshun Palace to rest. What are you doing following me?"
Long Jingchen blinked his narrow eyes innocently as he said, "I wish to stay the night."
As he spoke, a strange light shone in his eyes, making Sang Jiang's heart tremble.
She hurriedly pinched herself to bring herself back to her senses and not be bewitched by the man.
Long Jingchen, however, seemed to be doing it on purpose, and his smile became even more dazzling.
"Show-off!" Sang Jiang glared at him and turned to continue walking towards the bed.
Long Jingchen wasn't annoyed and just followed behind her, watching her toss and turn on the bed.
After she finished her fussing, he slowly lay down next to her.
Sang Jiang looked at him, who was raising his chin, and said, "From now on, this place will be the Chu River and Han Border. You can stay overnight if you want, but no one is allowed to cross the boundary!"
Long Jingchen glanced at the small pillow between the two of them and nodded: "Okay, don't worry, I definitely won't cross the line. But what if you, my wife, do cross the line?"
"Don't call me wife!" Sang Jiang gritted her teeth.
Long Jingchen rested his arms behind his head, looking at her with a smile in his eyes: "What else should I call you if not wife?"
“Call me by my name, Sang Jiang!” Sang Jiang knelt on the bed and looked down at him.
She really wanted to strangle this man right now, but thinking about how he was the one who gave her her comfortable, carefree life, she held back.
After all, if this man really dies, she'll probably have to be buried with him, right?
She suddenly remembered what she had learned in history class about white silk ribbons, poisoned wine, and even more serious things like being buried alive...
