"Sit down," Sang Jiang said, pointing to the chair next to her.
Nian Shihua hesitated for a moment before slowly sitting down: "What are your orders, Imperial Noble Consort?"
Sang Jiang picked up her cup, poured a glass of water for Nian Shihua, and then poured one for herself before continuing, "Do you want to be with Sang Ruo?"
Nian Shihua's hand holding the cup trembled, and the water in the cup instantly spilled all over her hand. He looked at Sang Jiang in horror: "You can't say things like that, Imperial Noble Consort."
Sang Jiang chuckled, picked up her cup and took a sip of water. She understood Nian Shihua's concerns. If he told Long Jingchen, he and Sang Ruo would be finished.
Nian Shihua stared at Sang Jiang's face without moving for a moment. He didn't know what Sang Jiang wanted to do, but he had to be extremely cautious about anything related to Sang Ruo.
"There are conditions." She put down the cup and fiddled with it in her hand.
Nian Shihua still looked at her without speaking, so she continued, "Help me leave, and I can take Sang Ruo with me. Then there won't be any imperial concubines or noble consorts, just Sang Jiang, Sang Ruo, and Nian Shihua."
Nian Shihua looked up at her again.
Sang Jiang put down her cup: "I know you may not be able to accept it right away, that's okay. I'll give you time to think it over and then answer me."
Nian Shihua was in a daze until he left Mingyue Palace.
He turned around and glanced at the Bright Moon Palace behind him, Sang Jiang's words still echoing in his mind.
"You still want to be with Sang Ruo?"
How could he not want to? The reason he was in this palace was because of Sang Ruo, so how could he not want to?
But Sang Jiang's condition was that she help her leave...
Has Sang Jiang and Long Jingchen really fallen out?
However, he dared not believe it easily, because if Sang Jiang was lying to him, he and Sang Ruo might both be ruined.
He would be willing to take the gamble if he were alone, but Sang Ruo...
He dared not and was unwilling to let her gamble.
Although they can't be together now, he's content just to see Sang Ruo every day.
...
Sang Jiang sighed softly as she watched Nian Shihua leave.
She understood Nian Shihua's concerns. Sang Ruo was too important to Nian Shihua, so he dared not easily trust her.
But this might be Sang Ruo and Nian Shihua's last chance to be together. She wanted to try. If it worked out, they would go to the Dark Tribe together. If it failed, she would share all the blame with them. She believed that if Sang Ruo knew about this, she would definitely be willing to try.
It seems we still need to arrange for Sang Ruo and Nian Shihua to meet.
Thinking about this gave her a headache.
Moreover, she only has a preliminary plan now, and as for what to do next, she will have to discuss it with them in the long run.
Just as Sang Jiang was having a headache, there was a sudden knock on her window.
Sang Jiang rolled her eyes at him and said softly, "Come in."
Without even thinking, she knew that besides Wei Qing, there was really no one else who would come.
Sure enough, as soon as she finished speaking, the window was opened, and Wei Qing leisurely climbed in through the window. He sat down opposite Sang Jiang as if he were in his own home and poured himself a glass of water.
"Jiang Jiang, was someone here just now?" He asked softly, looking at the still-warm cup opposite Sang Jiang.
Sang Jiang raised an eyebrow, not answering his question but answering another one: "I've made up my mind, I'll go back, but I have a request."
Wei Qing's mouth immediately broke into a wide grin as he looked at Sang Jiang and spoke with delight...
