Chapter 5 is probably another case of him going mad.

Sang Jiang raised an eyebrow slightly; how could she possibly use the same move twice?

She glanced at the lotus pond not far away, her beautiful lips curving slightly, her phoenix eyes sparkling with brilliance.

Her small face, though thin, shone with a radiant glow, appearing exceptionally beautiful under the glow of the sunset.

Nangong Jin, who was watching this scene from the shadows, felt her heart skip a beat.

He couldn't help but curse inwardly, "Demon!"

Aya didn't dare to relax her guard until she stood up straight. She held her waist with one hand and covered her knee with the other, tears streaming down her face.

Sang Jiang silently cursed in her heart, "Serves him right!"

She had read about what happened before the original owner of this body died in a book by a brainless author. Aya and her so-called third sister often beat and scolded her.

Sang Jiang committed suicide by drowning because she witnessed Sang Rui and Long Tianyi embracing and hugging, and was subsequently humiliated by the two.

Her mother, who is now the first wife of the Prime Minister's family, had long known that the two of them were secretly pregnant, and even went to her father to say that they were in love with each other.

It was around this time that she wrote a short essay for that author, scolding her for several hundred words before turning off her computer and going to sleep. Who knew that when she woke up, she would find herself transmigrated into the book and become the tragic female supporting character.

This is what we now call mulberry ginger.

Aya could tell from Sang Jiang's blank stare that she was probably possessed again.

She wiped away her tears with her sleeve, looked up and glared at Sang Jiang: "What are you spacing out for again! Hurry up and help me back, do you want me to tell the Third Miss?"

Sang Jiang snapped out of her daze and almost burst out laughing when she saw Aya's disheveled state. She suppressed her laughter, stared at Aya with her phoenix eyes, and said timidly, "I'm coming right now."

Aya could tell from her appearance that Sang Jiang, who was always bullied by them, was back.

Sang Jiang lowered her head and quietly got up.

Aya saw that Sangjiang was crying secretly because she was looking down and her small shoulders were trembling. She stopped crying and stretched out her arm with a hint of pride, indicating that Sangjiang should support her.

Sang Jiang stepped forward and held her arm, her head still lowered, afraid that if she looked up, Aya would see that she was smiling happily.

Just as they were about to reach the lotus pond, Sang Jiang, who was supporting Aya, suddenly started to sway.

She raised her thin, bony hand to her temple: "Oh dear, Sister Aya, I feel a little dizzy... Oh... Slow down, slow down..."

She swayed back and forth while tightly gripping Aya's arm, and Aya swayed back and forth with her movements.

Aya: "Ouch, if you can't walk, don't! It hurts so much!"

Aya, who already had trouble walking, felt her legs ache as Sangjiang swayed her back and forth. She let Sangjiang hold onto one hand, while using the other to search for a foothold, afraid that Sangjiang would fall or let go.

It didn't matter that Sang Jiang had fallen, but she couldn't fall again. Thinking this, she struggled to move towards a big willow tree, intending to lean against it and wait for someone to come and help her back.

How could Sang Jiang possibly let her have her way? She subtly took larger steps.

There were many large willow trees beside the lotus pond. Aya saw Sang Jiang walking with her by a straight willow tree and assumed that Sang Jiang was going to leave her there, so she let her go.

As soon as she reached the lotus pond, Sang Jiang slipped and fell headfirst into the pond.

Aya, who was being held tightly by her, stared at her with terrified eyes.

With a "plop!", Aya was stunned. What happened next left her completely dumbfounded.
