Zhuang Yan not only bought milk tea but also ingredients for hot pot. Every time he entered the kitchen, he would take off his plain ring, watch, and cufflinks.
He took off his coat, revealing a tailor-made white shirt underneath. Zhuang Yan washed the vegetables quickly; he was very skilled with a knife. He remembered cutting potato shreds into even, long strips, but now, because his hand was injured, he needed to use a tool.
