Chapter 106 Beating Xiao Mu

"Second brother, it's one thing for the little fat boy to be silly, but why did you come along too?" Nan Wusi frowned. Her second brother was not the kind of person who didn't know his place.

"Little sister, you've grown up now, and you even know how to lecture your second brother." Nan Wuyu was somewhat surprised. "Weren't you the main force in catching wild game in previous years?"

"Cough." Nan Wusi really didn't know this. She had no idea that the original owner would catch wild game to eat every year when she participated, but it was something that the original owner would do.

"Second brother, I'm all grown up now, you can't tease me like that anymore," Nan Wusi said, pretending to be angry and pouting.

"Haha, good, Second Brother knows he was wrong." Nan Wuyu laughed heartily.

"Oh dear, sis, come help me!" Nan Wushi saw a pheasant but couldn't catch it for a long time. He was getting anxious and the pheasant was about to escape. Nan Wushi had no choice but to take action.

"Here." Nan Wusi caught the pheasant in her hand and handed it to the chubby boy. Although she wasn't particularly afraid of these small animals, she still felt quite uncomfortable holding it in her hand.

"Hehe, my older sister is really good." The chubby boy happily grabbed the pheasant and praised her casually.

"Have you found a place yet?" Since it's a sneaky affair, there's no way we can just openly pick a place and start processing it.

"Found it." The chubby guy and his friends had already gone to look for a place.

Every year they change locations and rotate between several places, since it's unknown how long this custom will continue.

Namo Shih could not stand not eating meat for so long; he would really go crazy.

They grabbed the pheasant and headed towards the spot they had found earlier. Nan Wusi looked at the place they had chosen; it was a relatively secluded cave, indicating that they were quite experienced.

"Sisi, is this really okay?" Ouyang Xinxi stared blankly at the roasted pheasant in her hand. It all seemed like a long story, but it had actually happened in just a few moments. Even now, she still hadn't realized how she had been involved in the whole process.

"As long as I don't get caught, I'll be fine." Nan Wusi was content with her lot, since the original owner of this body had done this many times before. She ate heartily without any qualms.

"Little Fatty's cooking skills are pretty good." Nan Wusi praised while eating. It seems that Nan Wushi has honed his skills in grilling meat over the years in order to sneak some wild game.

"Mmm, it smells delicious." Seeing how much Nan Wusi was enjoying his food, Ouyang Xinxi couldn't resist starting to eat as well and found that it did indeed taste very good.

"Of course! I've been researching this dish for a long time." Nan Wusi thought to himself with pride. Although he couldn't cook, he was very confident in his ability to grill meat.

However, this was all out of necessity. In previous years, when they went out to hunt wild game, Nan Wusi would never cook it himself. Naturally, he was always the one to do it, and at first, he was disliked by everyone.

Just as the group was enjoying their meal, they heard footsteps.

Nan Wusi thought to himself, "It's over, we've been caught red-handed." Although the cave they were in was hidden, it was surrounded by mountains, with only one entrance. If they went out now, they would only run into the person who came in.

Just as the group was quickly packing up, the newcomer had already stepped into the cave.

"Xiao Yi?" Nan Wusi was surprised to find it was him.

"Your Highness Prince Yi." The group bowed in greeting, but Nan Wusi noticed the wild rabbit in Xuan Li's hand.

"It seems we're kindred spirits," Nan Wusi thought to himself.

"Have you all finished eating? Would you like to order some more?" Xiao Yi asked with a smile, as the aroma of meat lingered in the cave for a long time.

“Okay,” Nan Wusi replied happily, without any intention of being polite to Xiao Yi.

"Your Highness Prince Yi, let me do it." Nan Wushi took the initiative to take on the responsibility of grilling the meat. To be honest, the pheasant was too small, and with so many people sharing it, Nan Wushi was not full at all. He had just had a small treat.

After Xiao Yi nodded, Xuan Li naturally handed the rabbit in his hand to Nan Wushi, who indeed did not cook it very well.

After tasting the wild rabbit roasted by Nan Wushi, Xiao Yi also praised it. He didn't expect that a scion of a noble family would know how to cook such dishes, and with such good skills.

After the group finished eating the wild rabbit, they tidied up the place so that even if someone came again, they wouldn't be able to tell that someone had grilled meat there.

Then the group pretended nothing had happened and wandered around in the woods for a while, pretending to enjoy the scenery, which was quite a show.

When it came time for their vegetarian meal that evening, Nan Tianliu and his wife were somewhat surprised to find that their son had stopped making a fuss and had instead finished his meal obediently.

Namo Si also finished the vegetarian meal that the monk had brought her; the wild game she had eaten that afternoon was really just enough for her to have a little treat.

After eating and drinking his fill, Nan Wusi felt a little sleepy, and since there were no activities planned for the evening, he went straight to bed.

In the dead of night, a figure suddenly sneaked into Nan Wusi's room and quietly closed the door.

The newcomer glanced at Nan Wusi, who was fast asleep on the bed, and revealed a lewd smile. He had just blown the sleeping incense he had prepared into the room, and now, combined with the incense, it was the perfect opportunity.

However, when he tiptoed to Nan Wusi's bedside and reached out to lift the blanket, Nan Wusi suddenly opened his eyes and then covered the thief's head with the blanket.

After covering the person with the blanket and turning it around several times to ensure the thief couldn't easily escape, Nan Wusi began to beat them severely, hitting wherever it hurt.

Although the thief was in pain, his screams were muffled by the blanket, and almost no sound came out.
