Then Nan Wusi took Ouyang Xinxi to Jinxiu Pavilion.
"Is Madam Shang here?" Nan Wusi asked the maid who came to greet the guest after entering.
Before the maid could answer, a male voice rang out.
"It's you. What are you doing here looking for my mother?" The man's tone was very unfriendly.
Nan Wusi looked over and discovered that the person speaking was none other than the "rebellious son" that Madam Shang had brought to apologize earlier.
“Young master, I have come to discuss something with your father,” Nan Wusi replied, though she did not know the young master’s name, as Madam Shang had not introduced him that day.
"My mother is busy, you can leave now." The man was not polite at all.
The two men in the standoff were unaware that the maid had secretly left to inform the others.
Nan Wusi never expected that Madam Shang's son would be so hostile towards her. It seemed that she had never done anything to offend him. On the contrary, it was he who caused her business to suffer losses, which led to his apology.
"What are you doing?" Madam Shang, who had rushed over, scolded her son, then turned to Nan Wusi and apologized, "Manager Nan, I am so sorry for not greeting you sooner."
"It's nothing." Nan Wusi shook her head. She wasn't an unreasonable person, especially since she had come to ask for help today.
