After receiving her father's approval, Nan Wusi skipped and hopped, preparing to go find Steward Lü to choose a shop. She was so happy that she hummed a tune as she jumped, though it wasn't quite in tune.
As she passed by the training ground, Nan Wuyu caught her. "Third Sister, how long has it been since you practiced martial arts?"
Upon hearing Nan Wuyu's probing question, Nan Wusi felt her hair stand on end. Oh no, she hadn't even thought of that! But she didn't know martial arts. What was she going to do?
"Xiao Ba, what should I do? I don't know martial arts!" Nan Wusi urgently called out to the system Xiao Ba.
“Host, you have internal energy within your body,” Xiao Ba replied.
"What's the use of having internal energy if I don't know how to use it? How can I possibly use it if I don't know any moves?" Nan Wusi thought anxiously.
"Third Sister, come here quickly, what are you daydreaming about?" Nan Wuyu waved to her from inside the training ground.
"Third Sister, what are you thinking about? You seem so lost in thought." Nan Wufeng walked over and patted Nan Wusi on the shoulder.
"Big brother, second brother." Nan Wusi revealed a smile that was more like a grimace.
"Come here." Nan Wuyu beckoned again. "Have you been slacking off lately?"
"I've got something to do, Second Brother," Nan Wusi said with a fawning smile.
"What important business could you possibly have?" Nan Wuyu said dismissively.
"Well, wasn't I collaborating with Prince Yi to sell clothes?" Nan Wusi argued logically.
"Didn't you say we could just sit and wait to collect the money?" Nan Wuyu asked, looking incredulous.
“Drawing these blueprints also takes time,” Nan Wusi muttered.
"Alright, I'm not going to say anything about you slacking off before. Come over and spar with your second brother for a few moves, and see if you've regressed recently," Nan Wuyu said.
"Ah." Nan Wusi looked reluctant, then suddenly had a flash of inspiration and hurriedly said, "By the way, Second Brother, actually I've been thinking about a set of boxing techniques recently."
"Fist techniques?"
"Let's see!" Nan Wufeng immediately became interested when the topic of boxing techniques came up.
"There are some things I haven't figured out yet, so I can only give a rough outline," Nan Wusi said, giving the two brothers a heads-up.
"It's alright, it's alright," Nan Wufeng urged. "Hurry up and fight." He looked very interested, like a large dog that had smelled food.
I almost forgot that Nan Wufeng is a martial arts fanatic. Nan Wusi had no choice but to bite the bullet and begin her performance.
Fortunately, she still remembered some of the military boxing techniques she learned during military training. Back then, she performed well and was even a team leader, so she practiced very diligently. Although several years had passed, she still vaguely remembered some of them, which she thought was enough to cope with the current situation.
So she walked to the center of the training ground, began to think about the moves of military boxing, and practiced them one by one.
The military boxing routine originally consisted of sixteen moves, but she couldn't remember them all and could only perform about ten. Some of the moves were a bit disjointed, but even so, it greatly surprised the two brothers who were watching from the side.
"Second brother, go quickly and call Father to come and see." Nan Wufeng suddenly spoke when Nan Wusi was halfway through the fight, but his gaze never left Nan Wusi.
"Hmm." Nan Wuyu responded and ran off to find someone. Although he didn't have much knowledge of martial arts, he had been practicing for many years and could see some of the tricks of the trade, knowing just how amazing his little sister's set of boxing techniques was.
Nan Wusi, who was focused on her punches, was completely unaware of what was happening. She was experiencing a strange feeling while practicing, as if she had inexhaustible energy within her body that she wanted to unleash, making each move incredibly powerful. This excited her.
"Host, it's your internal energy that's reacting," Xiao Ba explained to Nan Wusi.
"It's a real pity. It's been too long since she learned the moves of military boxing, so she can't remember them very well and can only perform them based on her memory," Nan Wusi lamented in his heart.
"Hey, where are my brothers?" After finishing a set of punches, Nan Wusi finally realized that Nan Wuyu was no longer in the training ground.
"He went to find his father." Nan Wufeng seemed very excited, staring at her with a bright and lively expression.
"Ah, what do you want with Dad?" Nan Wusi felt that she seemed to have gotten into trouble again.
"Little sister, did you really come up with this set of boxing techniques yourself?" Nan Wufeng asked.
"Yes, yes," Nan Wusi could only admit, forcing a smile.
"Little sister, you are truly gifted in martial arts. Your older brother is far inferior to you," Nan Wufeng exclaimed sincerely.
Hearing Nan Wufeng's praise, Nan Wusi felt like she wanted to disappear into a crack in the ground. She felt somewhat uneasy about taking credit for the fruits of everyone's wisdom.
While the two were chatting, Nan Tianba strode over.
"Wusi, demonstrate your fist technique again for your father to see." Nan Tianba stared intently at Nan Wusi.
"Okay, Father." Nan Wusi nodded, walked to the center of the training ground again, took a deep breath, and began to find the feeling of punching again.
But this time, he couldn't find that mysterious feeling again. However, he was a bit more proficient in the military boxing than before.
He finished the set of punches very quickly.
"Wu Si, did you come up with this yourself?" Nan Tianba asked the same question.
"Hmm." This time, Nan Wusi nodded, putting aside his guilt.
"Haha, good, as expected of my good daughter, Nan Tianba." Nan Tianba said with a loud laugh.
"However, this set of punches feels a bit unsmooth," Nan Tianba pointed out the flaw.
“Yes, Father, there are some things I still don’t understand,” Nan Wusi replied.
"Hmm." Nan Tianba nodded, then solemnly warned Nan Wusi: "Wusi, you must not show this set of fist techniques to others casually in the future, understand?"
"Why, Father?" Nan Wusi was puzzled. Was modern military boxing really that powerful? She thought it was useless.
"Father wants to perfect your set of boxing techniques for the training of the Nan family army. Are you willing?" Nan Tianba looked at Nan Wusi and asked solemnly.
“Yes, Father, I have no objection.” Nan Wusi nodded with a smile.
"By the way, have you named this set of boxing techniques?" Nan Tianba asked.
"This set of boxing techniques is called Military Boxing," Nan Wusi said, not wanting to change the name.
"Haha, Military Boxing is a good name, it sounds powerful. My dear daughter, you go play first." After saying that, Nan Tianba "chased" Nan Wusi and Nan Wuyu out of the training ground, while he and Nan Wufeng began to practice Military Boxing.
The more Nan Tianba practiced, the more alarmed he became. Every move of the military boxing was incredibly powerful and had strong practical value. He believed that if the Nan family army could learn this boxing style, their overall combat level would be raised to a new level, and most importantly, it could likely improve the soldiers' survival rate.
As a result, Nan Tianba attached greater importance to this set of boxing techniques, practicing each move with Nan Wufeng, and working together to analyze and improve any areas that were not quite in sync.
Nan Wusi, who was kicked out of the training ground, didn't think about all that and had no idea what military boxing meant to the army. She turned around and pulled her second brother to accompany her to find Steward Lü to choose a shop.
