Sure enough, Nan Wushi arrived at the General's Mansion early the next morning to wait.
"Young Master, Miss is still washing up," came Zhu Zi, a second-class maid from Nan Wu Si Courtyard, to deliver the message.
"Honestly, how come my older sister is as troublesome as other young ladies now?" Nan Wushi shook his head. In the past, he would hardly have to wait for Nan Wusi for long, but now he even has to wash and dress up before going out.
Although Nan Wushi complained, he was secretly pleased. He knew his older sister rarely dressed up because she felt inferior, so she eventually stopped grooming and always wore riding clothes. It must be said, his sister actually had a lot of her uncle's style. It's just that as a woman, she had to endure so many strange looks and discordant voices.
Knowing that the little fat boy had been waiting, Nan Wusi quickened her pace, simply wearing a floor-length purple brocade skirt with beaded floral patterns, her hair styled in a half-up bun, with a ruby and gold hairpin tucked into her hair.

With everything prepared, Nan Wusi and Nan Wushi went out together to find Prince Yi at his Ni Chang Pavilion.
Although he had passed by many times, Nanwusi had never actually gone inside. Today, he could finally take a good look at what the largest clothing store in the capital city looked like.
As soon as the two entered the clothing shop, a petite and charming maidservant came to greet them, "What would you two ladies and gentlemen like?"
"We're here to see the person in charge here. Is he here?" Nan Wusi asked directly.
"Did you two have an appointment with the manager beforehand? Our manager is currently entertaining other guests," the maid replied with a smile.
"It's alright, just go and inform them. We'll wander around for a bit first." After saying that, Nan Wusi walked inside so she could check out the latest fashion trends.
The quality and styles of the clothes on the first floor seemed rather ordinary, and after browsing around, Nan Wusi felt there were no particularly eye-catching dresses. However, judging from the maid's words, there should be at least three floors, so she went up to the second floor.
Upon reaching the second floor, the decor and displays were noticeably more luxurious, suggesting this was the primary shopping area for wealthy ladies. In addition to clothing, private rooms were also provided for customers to change.
"What a luxurious lineup!" Nan Wusi thought to himself. He suddenly felt that his little shop seemed a bit low-class, and he wondered if he could retain these nobles.
The clothes on the second floor were clearly made of much higher quality materials than those on the first floor, and the styles were indeed the latest trends; she had seen similar styles on many noble ladies.
Nan Wusi lingered on the second floor for a while, carefully examining the clothes. He even summoned a maid from the second floor to inquire about the prices, only to discover that the prices ranged from a hundred to a thousand taels, shockingly expensive.
Of course, Nan Wusi is no longer as ignorant as before, unaware of the prices in this dynasty, and assuming her small goal is easily achievable. Thinking about this, she felt incredibly embarrassed for her past boastful words. Fortunately, it was just her own thought, and no one else knew.
After exploring the second floor, Nan Wusi went up to the third floor, which was more interesting. It had a main hall and several private rooms. The main hall was furnished with tables and chairs, and various fruits and snacks were laid out on the tables.
The doors to each room were tightly shut. Nan Wu thought of going in, but was stopped by a maid at the door.
"Miss, there are other guests inside. Please wait a moment." The maid gestured to the rest area set up in their hall.
“Okay.” Nan Wusi nodded and sat down with the chubby boy.
"Sis, what's in that room? It's all so mysterious," Nan Wushi asked, somewhat curious.
"What's the rush? We'll find out soon enough." Nan Wusi remained calm, slumped in his chair with no regard for his image, while Ye Zi stood beside him, deftly peeling fruit and feeding it to Nan Wusi.
Looking at his older sister like this, Nan Wushi's lips twitched slightly. He felt that Nan Wusi had become more carefree and knew how to enjoy life more than before.
The two waited for a while, and just as they were getting bored, the door to the room finally opened. A very elegant lady came out with her maid, and after noticing that there were people in the hall, she hurriedly left.
At this moment, the maid in the side room looked at the two people waiting outside and asked, "Are you two together?"
“Yes.” Nan Wusi nodded.
The maid then led the two into the room, and the door to the side room was closed again.
"Please wait a moment, you two." The maid bowed and went into another small room in the side room.
The two exchanged a glance, waiting for the next part to begin.
Before long, a maid came to them with a tray, saying, "Please choose the style you prefer."
The two looked at the tray, where they saw lingerie of various styles displayed.
"Cough cough." The chubby boy choked on his own saliva, and excitedly grabbed Nan Wusi's sleeve, shouting, "Sister, sister, it's underwear!"
Nan Wusi felt inexplicably ashamed. She realized that Prince Yi was truly a genius, to have come up with such an idea. But what she didn't expect was that lingerie had already become popular among wealthy women. No wonder that lady had seen them leave so quickly.
At this point, the maid realized that the two were not there to buy underwear, so she asked them what they had come for.
Nan Wusi said they came to find the manager of Ni Chang Pavilion, and only came up after hearing that the manager was on the third floor.
