It's the height of summer, and the heat is unbearable. Wang Yitong, frightened by the scorching sun, dares not go out. The top floor of her old residential complex is like a steamer, steaming hot. Fortunately, she bought a cool mat and an electric fan yesterday, which allowed her to find some coolness in the scorching heat.

Before Wang Yitong finished chopping the vegetables, Chen Dong came back. As soon as he entered the door, he said, "Hey, Yitong, I told you I'll be the one cooking from now on. Leave it to me. Don't worry about buying groceries from now on. Just buy the fruits you like. Ah Huang and I have a clear division of labor. I'll be in charge of cooking, and he'll be in charge of washing dishes. After listening to Wang Yitong, Chen Dong knew what type of dishes he should make next.
After they finished their meal, Wang Yitong was responsible for cleaning up the dishes and washing them thoroughly. This time, Chen Dong did not stop her.
Not long after, Ah Huang came back. "I left some food for you in the pot, and there's some on the table. Wash your hands and go eat," Chen Dong said to Ah Huang.
Wang Yitong watched Ah Huang come back and said, "Ah Huang, we ate without waiting for you. There are plums I bought on the coffee table. You can have some fruit after dinner. I'm going to go to the bank to withdraw some money."
After hearing what Wang Yitong said, Ah Huang hurriedly said, "Yitong, you're not familiar with this area. The bank is on another street. There are more banks near where we work. You can ask Chen Dong to take you there. He's very familiar with that area. Hey, Chen Dong, hurry up and take Yitong to the bank. It's safer to have someone with you at night."
Chen Dong understood that Ah Huang was giving him a chance to be alone with Wang Yitong. He quickly replied, "Yes, Yitong, the bank is on the other side. I'll go with you. It's not safe to go alone at night."

Before they knew it, they were at the Agricultural Bank. Wang Yitong withdrew 1,000 yuan from his card, counted out 500 yuan, and handed it to Chen Dong: "Brother, this 500 yuan is for you. Today is the 19th, so this 500 yuan will be your rent for this month and next. When you pay your rent next time, let me know, and I'll give you another quarter's rent."
