The next morning, Wang Yitong got up and went downstairs to have breakfast. Wang Dawei cooked noodles for her and put peas and beef in them.
Wang Yitong ate noodles and said, "Mom and Dad, you guys just stay home for a while. I'll eat and leave soon. I'll put the sweet potatoes grandma gave me in the car. I'll pick a few to take to Shanghai. When you return to Chengdu, you can just put them in the car and bring them home."
Wang Dawei said, "The frozen chicken in the refrigerator is still in the foam box. When you return to Chengdu, put it in the refrigerator first. Everything else has been packed for you."
Chen's mother continued, "Then be careful. Make sure you take everything. Don't miss anything."

Before leaving, she texted Zheng Shuangshuang, telling her that it would take about half an hour to get to Deyang. After graduation, Zheng Shuangshuang worked as a salesperson at a 4S dealership in Deyang. There, she met her husband, who works in technical support and is a few years her senior, and they got married shortly after. Her husband is a Deyang native, and both his parents are business owners. After her parents divorced when Zheng Shuangshuang was in junior high, she transferred to Wang Yitong's class in her second year of high school. They became deskmates and close friends, and Zheng Shuangshuang helped improve her English.
The two kept in touch after they started college. Zheng Shuangshuang would lend Wang Yitong money whenever she was short of money. When she had a miscarriage, Zheng Shuangshuang came to see her first, her belly bulging. She even called Zhao Yunhao and scolded him.
Zheng Shuangshuang had been pregnant for a short time when she had the miscarriage, and her child is now over one year old. She then went to a children's clothing store and bought two sets of winter clothes. She also stopped by a women's clothing store and bought a size 160 down jacket for Zheng Shuangshuang. Passing by the skincare section on the first floor, Wang Yitong also bought a set of skincare products.
After shopping, Wang Yitong placed her groceries in the back seat and followed the navigation to the area outside Zheng Shuangshuang's residential complex, where she also parked the car on the side of the road. She called Zheng Shuangshuang to let her know she was outside the complex. She then bought two milk bottles at a convenience store outside the complex.
A few minutes later, Wang Yitong saw Zheng Shuangshuang. "Shuangshuang, I'm here."
Wang Yitong placed the milk on the ground next to the car, then took out the groceries from the back seat and handed them to Zheng Shuangshuang. Wang Yitong then took the milk, put on her backpack, and closed and locked the car door.
"Shuangshuang, why do you look so bad? What happened to you? Did something happen? These things are for the child and you. I hope you like them." Wang Yitong said to Zheng Shuangshuang.
"Hey, I've been taking care of the baby at home since I gave birth. The baby is a little difficult to take care of and is too clingy. I can't sleep well at night. That's how it is. You can come if you want, but why bring so many things? It's too expensive!" Zheng Shuangshuang said as he walked.
Soon, the two of them reached the third-floor apartment. "We live with my parents-in-law. They're busy with their business, and my husband works during the day. No one helps me take care of the baby, so I'm doing it all by myself. It's been driving me crazy lately. I just hope the baby is older and can go to kindergarten so I can be more self-sufficient."
