Chapter 91 Rui Rui is still the best

Chapter 91 Rui Rui is still the best

Huo Huai Sui didn't actually hit the woman's face, but she was good at throwing things. The shoe grazed the woman's face and finally hit the back of the chair behind her.

The woman seemed stunned, not expecting Huo Huai Sui to dare to attack her.

The manager was at his wits' end, feeling that his position as manager was about to be terminated that night.

The woman snapped out of her daze and looked at Huo Huai Sui with a cold gaze. "You actually dared to smash me?"

Just as Huo Huai Sui was about to retort, Lu Feng Qing pulled her behind her, glanced at the woman casually, chuckled sarcastically, and returned the woman's arrogant words to her: "So what if she smashes you? Even if my best friend smashes the whole store, I have plenty of money to pay for it."

The woman's expression changed.

Lu Fengqing said to Huo Huaisui, "We don't bully children. Whatever her son throws at you, you should return the favor to his mother. If a child is not taught properly, it is the father's fault, but the mother cannot escape responsibility either."

Huo Huai Sui's eyes lit up, and he immediately grabbed the bowl and chopsticks he had used, eager to get started.

The woman turned pale with fright and screamed, "How dare you!"

The child was startled, looked at his mother, and burst into tears again.

"What's wrong?" Huo Huai'an rushed over.

Also arriving were the police officers whom Lu Fengqing had called.

The police officer looked around and asked loudly, "Which lady called the police?"

Lu Fengqing: "Me."

The woman was surprised that Lu Fengqing would call the police, and suddenly felt uneasy.

The man's father also returned, rushed over, picked up the child, gently coaxed him for a moment, and then questioned the woman: "What's wrong with you? You can't even take care of a child?"

The woman's face darkened. "If you think I can't keep an eye on things, why don't you take care of them yourself? It took you so long to make a phone call. Were you chatting with some vixen outside again?"

"You..." the man choked with anger, "You're being unreasonable!"

The woman knew this wasn't the time to argue, so she gestured with her chin towards Huo Huai Sui and Lu Feng Qing, "Those two women bullied your son..."

Huo Huaisui interrupted her unhappily: "It was clearly your son who bullied me. He threw a chopstick, a bowl, and a shoe at me for no reason."

Getting angrier as she talked, Huo Huai Sui grabbed Huo Huai An and began to complain: "Brother, it's this damn woman! Not only did she not stop her son from throwing things at me, but she also said that I could throw things at her whenever I wanted, and that even if she smashed the whole store, she would have money to pay for it."

Before Lu Fengqing could even begin to explain, the police officers, upon hearing this, pretty much understood what was going on.

One of the police officers asked the woman, "Is what she said true?"

The woman didn't speak.

The man looked at the child in his arms, then at the woman, and his face suddenly turned extremely ugly.

Many of the onlookers couldn't stand it anymore and spoke up for Huo Huai Sui.

With both witnesses and physical evidence, the police didn't even need to review the surveillance footage.

Huo Huai'an glanced at Huo Huaisui and asked, "You weren't hit, were you?"

Huo Huaisui: "No."

Huo Huai'an turned to look at Lu Fengqing again.

His younger sister is thick-skinned and a minor injury is no problem for her, but if this young lady were to be injured, even just a scratch, that ancestor would probably be furious.

Lu Fengqing raised her eyebrows.

Upon seeing this, Huo Huai'an immediately understood that the young lady was not going to let the matter rest.

However, he didn't intend to let those who bullied his sister get away with it so easily.

The police officer glanced at the individuals involved and said, "Come with us to the police station first."

“No,” the woman said immediately. “We haven’t done anything wrong, why are you taking us back?”

Lu Fengqing turned to the police and asked, "Does this count as disturbing public order?"

The policeman nodded. "Okay."

He deliberately provoked trouble in public, condoned his child's violence, and acted arrogantly.

The woman was about to say something when the man stopped her. "Fine. We'll go with you. There must be some misunderstanding. My son is such a good boy, he..."

Before the man could finish speaking, a chorus of boos erupted from all around.

"This naughty kid is considered well-behaved? My son is practically an angel."

"That lady is right. It is the father's fault if the son is not taught. If the parents can raise such an ill-mannered child, they are probably not much better."

As the murmurs arose, the man's face turned pale and then flushed.

The group was taken back.

As the saying goes, practice makes perfect, and Lu Fengqing was no stranger to the police station.

I just came over on Monday night, and now I'm back on Friday, and for a different reason.

The police eventually retrieved the surveillance footage, and with the feedback from the public, the couple had no way to defend themselves. However, because the two refused to apologize to Huo Huaisui, Huo Huaisui refused to let them leave, and the group was still arguing in the interrogation room.

The phone in her bag suddenly vibrated. Lu Fengqing got up and went outside to answer the call; the police didn't stop her.

The call was from Gu Suixing.

A man's lazy voice came through the receiver: "Why aren't you back yet?"

Lu Fengqing glanced into the interrogation room. "They refuse to apologize to Sui Sui and are arguing."

"What's there to apologize for?" Gu Suixing scoffed. "Let her go back and wait for Fourth Brother to get revenge for her."

Lu Fengqing thought of the woman's arrogant attitude and guessed that she had some powerful backer. The scoundrel must have found out something and was planning to find a way to get revenge for Huo Huaisui from elsewhere.

Gu Suixing urged, "Hurry back, I'm waiting for you to take a shower together."

"..." Lu Fengqing's cheeks flushed slightly. She looked around and asked him in a low voice, "Are you disabled? Can't you wash yourself?"

The old man said matter-of-factly, "I am disabled, I have muscular dystrophy, and I cannot take care of myself."

"You're insane." Lu Fengqing hung up the phone immediately.

Huo Huai'an returned from outside after finishing his cigarette and saw Huo Huaisui still inside. He asked Lu Fengqing, "Why hasn't she come out yet?"

Lu Fengqing said, "She kept demanding that the couple apologize to her."

Huo Huai'an had a bit of a headache. "What's the point of arguing about this? What good is an apology?"

The only way to deal with someone who is unreasonable is to use unreasonable methods.

They start with what they care about most.

Lu Fengqing asked, "Who are those two people?"

Huo Huai'an had just gone to investigate this. "...That woman is Tang Xingzhou's cousin. She got married very early, and I've never met her."

Lu Fengqing frowned.

Why is it another one surnamed Tang? When will this ever end?

Seeing that no one was around, Huo Huai'an leaned close to Lu Fengqing's ear and whispered, "I heard that Old Master Tang is dying. He's been to the hospital several times in the last two months. All these people have come back to fight for the family fortune."

Lu Fengqing suddenly realized.

No wonder that old man hadn't shown up since she broke off her engagement with Tang Xingzhou, and even when Tang Xingzhou was getting engaged to Gu Weiwei; it turned out he was in poor health.

Huo Huai'an glanced meaningfully into the interrogation room. "Those surnamed Tang are all shrewd and cunning. They've been fighting tooth and nail within their own ranks, and recently they've all started looking for allies, some for marriage alliances, others for partnerships. This Miss Tang has offended me and Sui Xing, so this drama of the family property battle is finally coming to an end."

Lu Fengqing didn't ask any more questions. She pushed open the interrogation room door again and called Huo Huaisui out.

Huo Huai Sui was initially reluctant, but she was satisfied when Lu Feng Qing said that her two older brothers would stand up for her.

As Huo Huaisui left the police station, he saw the mischievous child being held and soothed to sleep in the arms of a policewoman. He snorted and turned to Lu Fengqing, saying, "Rui Rui is so much better. He's polite and well-mannered, like a little angel. It just goes to show how important parents' genes really are..."

She was halfway through her sentence when she suddenly met her brother's gaze, and her mind went blank.
