A group of people were shouting all at once.
Xie Qinglan ignored them, glanced at the broken pieces and water stains on the ground, strode up to Huo Huaisui, and looked her up and down, "Are you hurt?"
Huo Huaisui said, "No."
The little girl reacted quickly, pulling her away just in time, and the water didn't even splash on the hem of her skirt.
Huo Huaisui paused for a moment, then said in a low voice, "I was just a little scared."
She didn't even dare to think about what would happen if that scalding water splashed on her, or if it splashed on her stomach.
The woman lowered her head and said softly, "I'm sorry, I accidentally broke the cup."
The young girl rolled her eyes and said irritably, "It was you all along. What, you're trying to pin it on Mrs. Xie?"
"I didn't..." The woman's face turned pale, and she subconsciously looked at Xie Qinglan.

The young girl snorted, "You're in your mid-twenties and can't even walk properly. Who are you trying to fool with this pitiful act? If you spill it on Mrs. Xie and hurt her and her baby, you wouldn't be able to compensate her even if you sold yourself!"
The female colleague, who didn't get along well with that woman, immediately knew that the woman was up to her old tricks and quickly asked, "What's going on?"
The young girl said, "What else could have happened? Mrs. Xie and I were just standing here talking when she came out of the water dispenser with a cup of water, looking like she had suddenly developed Parkinson's disease. If I hadn't reacted quickly, the hot water in the cup would have spilled all over Mrs. Xie."
The woman whispered, "I didn't mean to."
"Whether it was intentional or not, only you know."
After the young woman finished speaking, she stopped arguing with the woman, turned around and went back to her office. She picked up the landline and made a call to ask the cleaner to come up and clean the floor.
On the other side, after Xie Qinglan carried Huo Huaisui back to the office, she placed her on the small sofa and looked her over with concern, even rubbing and kneading her hands.
"Are you really not injured?"
The door was still open when he started touching her. Huo Huai Sui's cheeks flushed slightly, and she pushed his hand away, saying, "No."
Xie Qinglan looked at her for a moment before asking, "Where are you planning to go?"
He had just received a message from her saying she was going out for a while, but didn't say where she was going. He thought it was almost time to get off work, so he came upstairs. He never expected to see what had just happened.

Xie Qinglan lowered her eyelids slightly, concealing the coldness in her eyes.
Huo Huaisui said, "Zhang Qin invited me."

"Zhang Qin has arrived." Huo Huai Sui waved his phone.
Xie Qinglan smiled slightly. "Aren't you going to have lunch with me?"
Huo Huaisui: "You're such a big person, eat by yourself."
Xie Qinglan took her hand and said, "I'll see you downstairs."
Huo Huaisui did not refuse.
"I won't be coming this afternoon; I'll go straight home later."
"Whatever you want to eat tonight, I'll bring it back for you."
The two men talked as if no one else was around, and they didn't stop for a second as they passed in front of the woman.
Zhang Qin waited downstairs at the company for nearly ten minutes before Huo Huai Sui came down.
"Why is it so slow?" Zhang Qin put down her phone and looked at Huo Huaisui, who had gotten into the passenger seat.
Huo Huaisui casually remarked, "We pregnant women are just that slow."
"Fine, you're right." Zhang Qin waited until Huo Huai Sui had fastened his seatbelt before starting the car.
Huo Huaisui asked, "Where to?"
Zhang Qin: "Let's drink."
"?" Huo Huai Sui looked at Zhang Qin in disbelief. "You want me, a pregnant woman, to drink with you?"
Zhang Qin: "You can watch me drink."
Huo Huaisui: "..."
I wish I hadn't come out.
Zhang Qin actually took Huo Huaisui to a bar and booked a private room.
The two had barely entered when the waiter brought in the drinks Zhang Qin had ordered.
Huo Huai Sui asked, somewhat speechless, "Really? You're going to drink it?"
"Otherwise, why would you pay a thousand yuan for a room just to chat?" Zhang Qin took out a bottle of wine. "I didn't order you any drinks. Don't touch anything outside, it's not safe."
