The next morning.
After breakfast, Reiner took a group of animal-eared girls to the blacksmith shop to pick out weapons.
They lined up in a long line and followed Reiner closely.
Many passers-by saw this scene and walked up to Reiner to say hello to him.
The news of Si Yu beheading the Red Dragon spread throughout the city.
Junice turned to look at Reiner beside her and whispered, "I really envy you. My father Melod has been struggling for several months and is still an unknown magician."
Reiner replied softly: "You are better than me, but you haven't found the opportunity yet."
"You're comforting me so obviously." Junice smiled bitterly and patted Reiner's shoulders twice.
Arrived at the blacksmith shop.
The old blacksmith was unhappy when he saw Reiner bringing a group of demihumans, but he didn't say anything for Reiner's sake.
Reiner asked them to go into the blacksmith shop in groups of three to choose weapons.
First up is the epic wolf, epic cow, and epic fish.
The three of them chose a one-handed sword, a double-headed hammer, and a dagger respectively.
Epic Bull Shimu happily swung the hammer, and she was very satisfied with the weapon in her hand.
Her name is Eudora, who has many similarities with Martina: she is a vegetarian, strong, not very smart, and has an extremely domineering figure.
Martina, who seemed to enjoy playing with her, handed her her greatsword. "What's the point of a hammer? It's too short to be useful in combat. Use a greatsword like me. Most enemies will beg for mercy when they encounter me."
Eudora tried to swing the sword, then shook her head and returned it. "It's not as convenient as the hammer. I don't like it at all."
"Hammers are for women. A true female would prefer to use a sword that can cut through iron like mud, just like me..."
The Ox and Horse duo argued endlessly, trying to convince each other.
Reiner sighed and shook his head helplessly.
The epic fish on the side stared at the dagger in a trance.
"dislike?"
"Master, I actually know a little bit of magic, and I don't usually have any use for this weapon."
Reiner shrugged, unconvinced. "This guy said that a staff will be delivered soon. You can just use this dagger for self-defense."
The epic fish nodded and thanked softly: "Thank you, Master..."
In order to better understand the specialties of his slaves and thus decide their future team composition, Reiner has been observing them these past few days.
The epic fish's name is Pasha. She has a rather introverted personality and is very suitable to team up with the carefree Eudora.
Add the balanced and calm epic wolf into the mix, and the three-person team is complete.
The beast-eared girls continued to choose their weapons.
After buying the weapons, Reiner continued to take them to choose armor.
Because funds are not very abundant, epic slaves and above can be equipped with half-plate armor similar to Nora and Martina.
Rare slaves can only be equipped with a set of chain mail and a simple helmet.
The apprentice in the store was measuring the sizes of the demihumans with a worried look on his face. He couldn't communicate with the demihumans, so he had to ask Junice to help measure them.
And Aliana, who was standing beside him, had an even uglier expression on her face than him.
Looking at the swords, guns, sticks and clubs in the fingers of the demi-humans, she pouted and complained, "Reiner, you don't want me to enchant every piece of equipment, do you?"
Reiner gave her a thumbs-up and praised her: "Lovely elf lady, your predictions are truly as good as a god. The defensive performance of the chain mail alone is still too poor, but with your enchantment, the defensive performance will be a qualitative leap."
Aliana had a sad face and hit Reiner's waist with her staff a few times. She said sadly, "I feel like I've been severely exploited."
"Who said our Aliana is so good? You are the only one who can enchant equipment. It's amazing!
