Reiner walked towards Martina, touched her pony ears, and asked her knowingly: "What's wrong, honey? Is there something bothering you?"
"I was wondering why they suddenly bought me some alcohol. It turned out to be a premeditated plan. They wanted to get me drunk so they could act more easily, right?
Nora is also a fool. Her husband ran away with another woman, and she didn't even try to stop him."
"Didn't you say Junice didn't care?" Nora retorted angrily.
Martina folded her arms, "I don't care. You were wrong for not stopping Reiner anyway."
Just then, Junice returned from the cubicle. She felt it was wrong to leave Reiner alone in the living room.
So she walked up to Martina and said with a blushing face, "I like Reiner too. I hope we can get along well in the future... I'm willing to line up behind you!"
"You're a bit..."
Martina swallowed the words she was about to say.
(No, Nora is in front of me. If I line up like this, wouldn’t I be second?)
She coughed dryly twice and then said, "Forget it. Since you like Reiner too, then you can say that your taste is as good as mine. I, Martina, am not a narrow-minded person."
Nora snorted, then clenched her fist and hit her on the head.
Just then, Reiner heard the sound of horse hooves, and soon there was a knock on the door.
After opening the door, Reiner saw an extremely familiar figure.
It was Dimas who arrived.
He handed the two rolled-up deeds to Reiner and said with a smile, "These two plots of land are yours."
"Why are there two pieces?" Reiner asked puzzledly.
"I took the liberty of buying this house for you from another noble for half the price, using twenty gold coins. If you don't need it for the time being, I can take it back." Dimas said seriously.
Reiner still remembered that the white-haired old man said that the house would be sold for at least forty gold coins, which saved him half of the money.
"Thank you, I'm sorry to bother you." Reiner said softly.
Dimas took off the purse from his waist and handed it to Reiner: "Here are 160 gold coins, 140 of which are the proceeds from helping you deal with the dragon claw."
This was beyond Reiner's expectations: "So many?"
"After all, it's a very rare, high-level monster. Almost every part of it is useful," Dimas replied as he mounted his horse. "I'm going to train the militia outside the city now. I'll take my leave now. You two can catch up."
Reminisce?
Reiner looked in the direction from which Dimas had come.
He saw a familiar figure again.
I haven't seen Anna for a long time. She is still the same as before, like an NPC who doesn't even change clothes, always wearing her revealing animal skin clothes.
She dismounted, tied the horse, and walked over to Reiner: "Reiner, it's been a long time since we last met. You've become even more handsome."
"You've become more charming too. We haven't seen each other for about a month and a half, right?"
"More than that, did you get Junice back?" She stood on tiptoe and looked into the house, just in time to see Junice sitting at the dining table.
She sidled into the house and ran quickly to Junice: "You're really back! It's great."
After a brief greeting, Anna began to vividly describe how to bring the two together.
"You don't know, after you left Melode, Reiner was anxious and scratching his head every day. In order to protect you, he even lowered his status and led your brother to other places..."
Junice smiled and waved her hand, saying softly, "Reiner has already told me all this in person."
Anna's eyes curved into crescents when she smiled. She stole a glance at Reiner, then bent down next to Junice and said something, making her laugh out loud.
"What are you laughing at? Hold on tight! Even I can see it, can't you?"
Junice shook her head, picked up the wooden cup and took a sip of water, then replied calmly: "We are already together."
