Before Nora finished speaking, there was a strange noise coming from the front.
Several people held their breath.
Deep in the withered forest, three orcs with green flames burning all over their bodies were leading a group of orcs to the vicinity of the altar.
Their skin was constantly burned and healed by the flames, and the air was filled with a faint smell of burning.
Although it looked horrifying, the crooked way they walked seemed to be in extreme pain.
"What happened to them?" Reiner asked in a low voice.
"In exchange for immense power, they sold their souls to the Blazing Satoros. While they gained incredibly strong bodies in return, they will endure the pain of the flames forever." Fiona pointed at the charred corpses. "We paid a heavy price to eliminate these guys."
Reiner glanced back at the orc's corpse and asked, "How does it compare to the Minotaur Chieftain from before? Who's more formidable in a one-on-one fight?"
Fiona shrugged and said, "Of course it's Chief Minotaur. There are so many of these guys, and if they gather in groups of three or more, they will cause quite a bit of trouble.
And, what worries me most are the monsters they summon... and the demons that have never appeared."
Reiner pointed to the depths of the dead woods and asked, "Is that where the Viper Clan's tribe is?"
Fiona nodded. "We'll see them in about two or three miles. In about two hours, the soldiers under Lord Aidan's command will engage them. We'll need to coordinate their attack."
"Do demons have abilities similar to magic detection?"
"I haven't done it before. I heard that demons are very sensitive to magic."
Reiner relayed her words to Aliana beside him, and she agreed: "My mother said something similar, but I don't know the specific scope of the exploration."
In that case, there's no way I can just sit there for two hours and charge up my Fireball spell...
While they were talking, the three orcs with flames all over their bodies instantly killed the people of their tribe and poured their blood into the altar.
In an instant, the summoning circle under their feet became brighter.
Aliana muttered softly, "I feel like something is wrong..."
Reiner nodded as well.
Because he saw the orc corpses around him shrivel up instantly.
The summoning array surrounding the altar turned into a silver-white mirror.
This thing seemed to be a passageway connected to another world. From time to time, something could be seen poking out of it, stirring up waves.
A few seconds later, a huge, dark black dog head emerged from it, followed by the second... the third...
Reiner recognized it immediately.
Three-headed dog!
A three-headed dog like a dog from hell jumped out of the teleportation circle. This guy was extremely strong and sturdy, like a mighty elephant.
After the three-headed dog emerged from the magic circle, it first sniffed a few times, then its lava-like pupils swept around, and finally locked onto the bushes where Reiner was hiding.
Several people broke out in cold sweats.
Reiner shouted loudly: "Its target is us! Quick..."
Before he finished speaking, flames from the three-headed dog's mouth spewed towards the few people.
In an instant, raging flames swept over, and the entire forest became a sea of fire.
