It was night when the team arrived at Dawn Forest.
The adventurer team built two campfires in the woods. They sat around them chatting and bragging, looking very happy.
Reiner sat in the back, leaning against a tree, and munched on black bread with the two animal-eared girls.
He couldn't get along with this group of rough old men, he preferred to stay alone in a quiet place to rest.
Most importantly, Nora and Martina don't like crowded places.
After eating, the three of them sat under a tree to rest.
Martina looked sleepy, but there were too many humans around, so she couldn't sleep peacefully.
"If you're tired, just go to sleep. You don't have to worry about what someone might do to you."
Martina nodded, leaned on Nora's shoulder and closed her eyes.
At this moment, a knight with his entourage came over.
Like Reiner, he is very young and appears to be in his twenties.
"Why haven't I seen you before?" The knight raised his head slightly, looking a little arrogant.
"I just happened to be heading to this forest, and since you were going your way, I decided to follow you," Reiner answered truthfully. "There are a lot of bandits in this area, so it's safer to travel with a group."
The knight remained silent, his eyes sharp and frightening.
"What's wrong?"
"Speak more respectfully next time." The knight said coldly, then walked away from him.
A hundred question marks arose in Reiner's mind.
What's the meaning?
Do we have to address him as Sir Knight or Master Knight?
Reiner cursed as he looked at his back.
Martina muttered to herself, "What's there to be proud of? He might not even be as good as me."
She closed her eyes again and continued to sleep soundly.
Reiner looked at Nora beside him and reached out to touch her furry ears: "Aren't you going to sleep?"
"Master, you rest and I'll keep watch. Later in the night, I'll wake Martina up and have her keep watch."
"No, you rest first, I'll wake you up in the middle of the night." Reiner scratched the hair inside her ear.
Nora yawned sleepily and squinted her eyes at Reiner: "Then I... really want to sleep."
"Go to sleep."
After getting Reiner's permission, she closed her eyes.
(Martina is heavy... and the tree behind her is hard...)
"You can rest your head on my shoulder."
Nora stole a glance at Reiner and seemed a little hesitant.
After struggling for a long time, she finally leaned against the bed carefully.
(Will it be too heavy?)
"Don't tie your neck, relax and get some rest. I need to sleep after you finish sleeping."
"Oh oh." Nora did as she was told, took a long breath, and completely relaxed her body.
(It’s much more comfortable now. The owner is so thoughtful.)
Even Nora herself didn't realize that now, no matter what Reiner said, she did it one by one, without even doubting it.
Soon she fell asleep leaning against Reiner.
Reiner just quietly watched the adventurers in the distance. They were jumping and dancing around the fire, looking very happy.
Just then, a familiar figure walked towards him.
It's Junice.
"Why are you hiding here? But do you want to play with them?"
