Chapter 153 Fiona asks for help again (1/2)

A month passed in the blink of an eye.

During this period, Reiner has been living in Cannon, and his life has been peaceful. He usually takes the animal-eared girls to the tavern to accept commissions, and on weekends he takes them out for a walk and do team building. He lives a very leisurely life.

Martina stood in front of the simple calendar Reiner had made, carefully gesturing twice. Then she suddenly tilted her head and squinted at Reiner. "It's a day off today, dear. You understand me, right? You can't rest for even a second."

Reiner took a bite of his bread and waved his hand: "What you said is true. It's always you who fails first."

Martina's face flushed like a red kettle as soon as she heard this. She argued loudly, "Nonsense! I'm just tired!"

Reiner didn't want to argue with her, as he knew Martina's limits very well.

But it doesn't really matter to Martina whether she has a holiday or not.

But if she has a holiday, she will harass Reiner all day long with various reasons, and she would like to stay with him for 24 hours.

On the other hand, Nora is very sensible and often helps Reiner out of trouble. At night, unless Reiner invites her to do so, she will usually just sleep in his arms.

Reiner glanced down at Junice's belly, which still looked the same.

Thinking of this, he checked Nora and Martina. There were no strange entries in the status bars of the two beast-eared girls. It seemed that there was still a long way to go.

At this moment, Nora's ears spun like radar, and then she pointed in the direction of the door and said, "Master, the female orc is here."

After saying that, she took another bite of the bread.

Martina puffed up her cheeks and snorted softly, punched Reiner, and then ran upstairs angrily.

Ever since the last time I stayed in the orc tribe and made Martina sad.

She hated Fiona deeply, and whenever she mentioned her, Martina would say a few bad things about her.

Reiner stood up and opened the door, then looked out towards the street and met Fiona's eyes as she slowly approached.

It was almost spring for Cannon, and she wore fewer clothes. Although she was still wrapped tightly, she no longer looked bloated.

Fiona also saw Reiner and waved her arm in greeting: "Lord Reiner!"

During this period, Fiona would often come to visit him whenever she had time. She liked to share with Reiner what happened in the tribe, and often she would chatter for two or three hours before leaving.

In fact, she was very busy in the tribe, dealing with many matters big and small every day, but as long as she had a little time, she would walk a few miles to find Reiner.

Occasionally, Reiner would go to the orc tribe to make himself familiar with them, and then deliberately act in front of the orcs.

Reiner felt that she was not here to play this time.

Because Fiona's expression at the moment was unusually solemn, something big must have happened, otherwise she would never show such an expression.

Just as Reiner was making wild guesses, the next second she heard her inner voice: (How should I start? I need Reiner’s help again…)

She walked quickly to Reiner and said with some sadness, "Lord Reiner, a demon has appeared again in the north of the forest. Last night, it attacked the weakened Viper Clan and slaughtered nearly a thousand orcs overnight."

Reiner stepped back a few steps, motioning for her to come in. "How many demons are there? Do you know them? What special abilities do they each have?"

Seeing the serious tone of the two people, the smart Nora realized that things must be complicated and started to put on armor.
