Chapter 174 Mother Misses You Very Much... (1/2)

The team slowly entered the forest, and the demons hiding in the trees launched an attack.

Several red shadows attacked Martina, who was at the head of the team. She dodged the attack by slightly turning sideways, and raised her head to glance into the depths of the woods, seeming to be a little disdainful.

The weapon used by the demons to attack is a spear similar to a red crystal.

After the attack was dodged, the crystal spear instantly turned into a long stream of blood and quickly flew back into the woods.

Martina timed her release of lightning precisely, following the bloodline and hitting the attacker hiding in the tree.

There was a loud bang, and the whole tree was engulfed in flames. A charred corpse fell to the ground, and several other demons who were set on fire jumped to the ground and rolled around.

More demons attacked Martina.

She found that these blood spears could not even penetrate her armor, so she did not even try to dodge but gathered her strength on the spot and slashed out with the wind blades.

More than a dozen treetops were cut neatly. Reiner sensed that many demons died in this blow. They were killed by an incomprehensible force.

Aliana wailed, "Tree!"

Reiner looked at the corpses on the ground. They did look somewhat similar to the demon form of Lalith.

Martina stood there, took off her helmet, and ate some white bread she had gotten from somewhere. Then she said seriously, "Run away before I finish this piece of white bread."

The remaining demons almost lost their will to fight, and they jumped off the trees and fled.

Nora cursed from behind: "He's sick again! Can you solve it quickly? We still have to hurry."

Reiner hit her butt with his staff: "Stop pretending, they can't understand you. Try to kill them and catch them alive."

"Oh oh." Martina stuffed the uneaten white bread to Reiner, bent her body slightly and rushed out.

There were only a few loud noises, the ground was shaking slightly, and thunder fell from the sky from time to time. The noise Martina made was so loud that it was obvious that she did it on purpose.

Standing aside, the worldly-wise Idia muttered to herself, "She...she's amazing! Master! Can she be Barbara's teacher?"

Reiner didn't dare to say a word.

Having her be a teacher is simply a disaster for the cute little Lolita.

"Besides, she's not very reliable."

A few minutes later, Martina came back dragging an unconscious demon.

This thing was covered with a piece of linen, had a light reddish skin, a pair of goat horns on its head, and was covered in muscles. Apart from that, it looked no different from a human.

"You didn't electrocute her, did you?"

"Probably not. Do you want me to help her wake up?"

"Don't kill her."

Martina nodded, and then lightning surged in her palm.

She suddenly struck the demon's chest with an electric shock, and the guy immediately screamed and sat up straight. She gasped for breath and looked at everyone with terrified eyes.

Especially Lalith, the moment their eyes met, she screamed and tried to escape.

Lailisi looked at everyone innocently and asked doubtfully, "Do I look scary?"

She flew towards the demon that was trying to escape, grabbed it, and then asked the same question again.

But the two of them didn't speak the same language, and neither could understand what the other was saying.

"What is she babblein' about? I feel like I can understand a little bit, but I also don't understand anything at all."
