Reiner and his group followed Yule into the city's Lid Tower.
This place seemed to be even more prosperous than Worsrich. Every inch of the street was filled with smooth gravel, and the storefronts on both sides looked very delicate and neat.
Moreover, here you can see civilians dressed in gorgeous clothes everywhere, and most of them have kind smiles on their faces. It seems that life here is quite rich.
"This city is pretty nice." Reiner whispered in Junice's ear.
Junice nodded and answered absentmindedly, "Lilita is already one of the most famous and prosperous cities in Roseno."
She was anxious about the mother she might meet later.
Of course, she was not worried about what would happen to herself, but she was worried that Reiner would be in trouble.
Reiner nudged her gently, then asked knowingly, "Why are you so sad? Are you unhappy?"
Junice sighed and softly instructed, "If my mother says something unpleasant, then we should just ignore her and leave."
"I understand. I can understand. I'll follow my wife's arrangements."
Junice's brows relaxed, and then she walked quickly to Yule and said a few words to him, then turned back.
She put her hands behind her back, looking shy, as if she had something to say to Reiner.
Although he had heard her thoughts, Reiner pretended not to know and asked, "What's wrong?"
"Let Martina and the others stay in the hotel. Although there are places for servants to stay in the castle, the conditions are not particularly good, so..."
Junice was actually worried that her mother would say something extremely hurtful and make Martina and the others angry.
After all, demihumans in this world don't even have the most basic human rights.
Reiner glanced back at them, thought for a moment, and nodded: "Alright."
Martina asked confusedly, "What's wrong, dear?"
"We'll rest in this city for a day. I'm going to meet Junice's mother later. I'll only take Nora and Laelis with me. You guys can rest in the hotel for one night."
Martina put her hands on her hips and said in public, "No, I've lifted the seal. We haven't slept together for the past two months. Today I want to have a big fight with you!"
Reiner was used to this. "Then tomorrow, it's definitely not going to work today."
Junice took her arm and whispered something in her ear.
Martina pouted, touched the back of her head, and muttered, "Well then... I won't go with you. Nora, you have to protect our men, especially pay more attention to that demon."
Laelis shrugged with a smile.
Nora glanced at her and replied in an impatient manner, "I know."
Aliana rode over on horseback, blinking her eyes and asking innocently, "What are you discussing in secret?"
"I'm going to meet Junice's mother later, you..."
Before he could finish his words, Aliana interrupted him, yelling, "I want to go too! Don't even think about leaving me to take risks on my own."
Eliana waved her staff and gently poked Reiner's arm.
"Why are you following me when I meet my father-in-law? Are you acting like a third wheel or a burden?"
Aliana dismounted, hugged Reiner's arm and said coquettishly, "Take me with you! I'll be a good boy and follow you everywhere."
Reiner looked at Junice beside him, asking for her opinion.
The two exchanged glances briefly, but still chose to reject Aliana.
Reiner found a three-story hotel on the roadside that looked decent, and ordered four rooms connected side by side on the same floor for the dozen or so companions who were traveling with him to stay together.
