Reiner couldn't remember how many times he had been questioned as not being human.
He was used to it.
"As a human, can't you just listen to what I have to say? I'm not interested in fighting with you."
The gray-robed wizard shrugged and chanted a long spell, and then the ruby on the top of the staff flashed with a strange light.
Lailisi volunteered to take a step forward: "How about letting me deal with her?"
Reiner quickly waved his hand: "No, just stand where you are and don't move."
Before he finished speaking, a huge stream of water emerged around the gray-robed wizard, and they turned into tiny water needles, piercing towards the barrier one by one.
Seeing that it had no effect, she changed her strategy and condensed the water around her into an almost transparent water gun, which she fiercely stabbed at the barrier.
Reiner's barrier had become quite solid after accumulating power, and this time it didn't even cause any waves.
But he noticed that there seemed to be water droplets slowly seeping through the barrier.
The next second, the seeping water droplets turned into water needles and instantly attacked Reiner's chest.
Just as he was about to stab him, Reiner used his other hand to unfold a small barrier and block it.
This move is quite insidious.
If Reiner hadn't activated his lightning speed and domain, which allowed him to see almost every move of those around him, he might have been caught.
"I'm here."
As soon as she finished speaking, several stone pillars rose up around the gray-robed wizard to form a solid stone cage. She was unable to dodge and was trapped inside.
Reiner condensed a fireball in his palm and simply feinted it to trick the gray-robed wizard into quickly releasing a stream of water, forming a water shield in front of him.
Then he wrapped himself in the water flow, trying to protect himself.
Electricity surged from the top of Reiner's staff and quickly struck the water shield in front of him.
After being attacked, the gray-robed wizard screamed a few times, and the water balls in the stone cage quickly dissipated.
Reiner put down his staff and asked concernedly: "Are you okay?"
"You know four kinds of magic with different attributes." The gray-robed wizard gasped for breath. She held onto the stone cage and seemed to have difficulty even staying standing.
"You know a little bit." Reiner walked in front of her, and after making sure she could stand firmly, he disintegrated the thin stone pillars around her that restricted her movement.
The gray-robed wizard was still staring at Reiner's eyes: "How could you have such power to collude with the devil, you..."
"Stop! Don't be so quick to scold me. I'll explain it to you later." Reiner took a deep breath and then asked softly, "Do you know Junice Poitou Lilideta?"
The gray-robed wizard's face darkened, as if he was thinking.
Seeing her reaction, Reiner was probably certain that the guy in front of him was Junice, the magic mentor.
Because their staffs were almost identical, and even the robe she was wearing now was the same one Reiner had seen Junice wear.
When Reiner first met Junice, he asked her about the sources of her equipment. She said that she had the staff custom-made by a craftsman, and the ruby on the top was particularly valuable, which was why she always wrapped it in a black cloth.
The most important thing is that the spell she just cast was also used by Reiner when he saw Junice use it.
However, Junice's use of water magic is far less proficient than hers.
The last point is that Junice once said that her mentor is currently working in the royal capital.
The gray-robed mage asked cautiously, "Do you know my disciple?"
"Of course, Junice is my wife..."
