early morning.
Reiner was shaken awake by Junice: "Don't sleep, Reiner. Aidan has returned to Cannon after fighting in the west. The messenger said he is on his way to the tribe and wants to talk to you. Hurry up and get dressed and get up."
As soon as he finished speaking, Reiner sat up suddenly.
After coming from the south, he waited in the orc tribe for a month, relying on Lelith to gather intelligence every day. Now the time is finally ripe, and it seems that Aidan has made a decision.
Nora picked up the clothes and helped Reiner put them on.
A few minutes later, Reiner was waiting downstairs and he poured himself a glass of water.
Martina was still munching on some bread, sighing that it was great to be alive.
Noila reached out and grabbed her horse ears, frowning slightly: "Hurry up and go upstairs with me, I'm going to talk about love with someone else later."
Martina glanced at Reiner and scratched her head foolishly: "No need? We can help him boost his morale here."
"Since they've already come to us, they don't need us to help them out."
"Then...then I'll get a few more pieces of bread!"
Noila Mo said impatiently, reaching out and hitting her head: “Hey, eat, eat, eat! Can’t you wait a moment?”
Martina stuffed a few more pieces of bread into her pocket and ran upstairs after Nora.
Junice also slowly stood up and walked upstairs: "I'll step aside for a while, after all, Aidan specifically came to see you."
Reiner touched her slightly bulging belly and said, "I'll come up to you after we're done talking. You can play with Nora and the others for a while."
"I know." Junice smiled softly.
Reiner sat in the living room and waited for a while, then heard the sound of horse hooves in the distance.
He went out and looked into the distance, and saw Fiona walking towards them with Aidan.
Connor followed behind him. Neither of them wore armor or carried weapons, and they had no guards behind them.
Aidan rode on his horse, looking up at the rows of three-story buildings in front of him and the occasional demons that appeared nearby, and fell into deep thought.
Following Fiona's reminder, Aidan's gaze fell on Reiner.
Reiner was the first to greet him in a friendly manner: "Master Aidan."
"Now it's my turn to call you sir." Aidan also smiled, and the atmosphere was quite relaxed.
Connor narrowed his eyes and observed the nearby demons, wondering, "Reiner, what kind of species is this? It looks almost like a demon."
"Demons. I went to the south some time ago. This is the species from there."
Aidan, on horseback, carefully observed Vilisa, who was squatting beside him planting flowers, and sighed, "I've heard of them, but this is the first time I've seen a demon with my own eyes."
Reiner hooked his finger at Velissa: "Come on, show us your talent."
As soon as she finished speaking, she used a shovel to cut a small wound on her arm, and the blood kept spurting out into various weapons as she thought of it.
Aidan sighed and then said, "What an amazing guy."
While they were chatting, Aidan had already walked to Reiner's door.
He dismounted and handed the reins to Connor behind him.
Reiner stepped aside to make room and pointed inside the house: "Let's go in and talk."
After the two sat down, they exchanged a few words and Daisy came over to pour them some water.
Seeing that the time was ripe, Aidan said, "Lord Reiner, I heard Fiona say that she now obeys you. You are the real ruler of the Orc Tribe."
"That's not the case. Normally, she's in charge. She's the chieftain of the Orcish United Tribe. I just occasionally offer some suggestions."
