Chapter 212: Vigorously Developing and Promoting Magic (1/2)

"Hey, look who's here..."

The dim dungeon was filled with many captured nobles, most of whom came from the four towns captured by Reiner.

As soon as he came in, Reiner smelled a stench of sweat mixed with rottenness.

Nora pinched her nose gently and breathed through her mouth.

The noisy nobles fell silent upon seeing the completely demonized Lalith, and huddled in a corner like a flock of chicks.

Muir's cell was deep in the dungeon.

Several people walked into the room and saw him living in a solitary cell.

Muir sat on the ground leaning against the stone wall, staring at Martina and Nora behind him, and only glanced at Lalith twice.

But as more and more Lalith bodies came from behind and merged with him, his expression began to change subtly.

Lailisi turned her head and glanced at him through the cage, then said, "Okay, Master."

There was a hint of doubt in Muir's eyes.

Reiner led the group out of the dungeon.

Aidan, who was standing at the door, asked doubtfully, "Your Majesty, is your interrogation over?"

"Nothing to ask. Just take the ransom and release him."

"Yes, Your Majesty." Aidan didn't ask any more questions. He patted Connor, who looked drunk and was standing next to him.

I don’t know what Aidan said to him after he left temporarily, but he seemed to have become much more serious.

A few people walked into the bunker hall and saw the maids preparing lunch in an orderly manner.

It seems that I have to tell Aidan in advance before coming here next time.

Reiner sat in the main seat, from which he could overlook the entire banquet hall.

Seeing this, Martina also found a place to sit with white bread in front of her.

As soon as her butt touched the chair, Nora and Laelis grabbed her ears and lifted her up.

In fact, Reiner didn't mind this, but Lelith had just told her that she needed to establish a sense of authority, so she would let the horse girl suffer for a while and compensate her when she returned.

Reiner said softly to the group including Aidan, "You all sit down."

Nora found a corner to sit down, and then Laelis hurried over and whispered something in her ear.

She immediately stood up shyly and sat on Reiner's right side.

At the same time, the voice of the heart came.

(This spot is so conspicuous, so embarrassing. Human rules are so troublesome.)

It’s actually not that bad now. Everyone in the banquet hall is our family except the maid and Aidan.

If Jianguo succeeds, there will be dozens of guests at banquets in the future, and Noila Mo will be even more unbearable.

Reiner whispered in her ear: "Relax."

Nora nodded and grabbed Reiner's hand under the table.

Aidan, as the lord who hosted the banquet, sat next to Reiner. He looked no different from usual.

After a few seconds of pausing, he said apologetically, "I'm sorry, Your Majesty, I didn't prepare the banquet for you in time."

Reiner said slowly, "It's okay. I came here for other things. I can talk to you while I'm waiting."

As soon as he finished speaking, the maid beside him poured wine for Reiner.

"Your Majesty, you speak."

Reiner pondered for a moment, then asked tentatively, "Aidan, what do you think of magic?"

"I don't understand magic, but I am open to it because I have personally witnessed His Majesty wield terrifying magic that is more powerful than any weapon we possess... When used properly, magic can do more good than harm to us."

Reiner nodded in relief.
