Reiner poked his head out and took a look outside.
Seeing that the Goblin High Priest was still busy fiddling with the seasoning for the broth, he propped his staff against the bushes and began to chant a spell in a low voice.
In an instant, the goblin priest in the distance realized something was wrong. After looking around, he finally found Reiner who was about to launch a sneak attack.
He raised his staff and roared, "Goblins! Capture him!"
The goblins around stopped what they were doing, picked up their weapons and attacked Reiner.
The one-eyed ogre who was in charge of slaughtering adventurers also ran towards him with a butcher's knife in his hand.
The other ogres faced Reiner and guarded the priest and the tyrant.
Reiner gripped his staff tightly and aimed at the attacking goblins.
After thinking it over carefully, he raised his staff an inch and aimed at the goblin priest in the distance.
But the goblin priest did not dodge or evade, showing no fear at all.
The fireball brushed past the ogre's body and hit the goblin priest, but the expected explosion did not occur. Instead, it was deflected by an invisible force and exploded in the open air.
At the same time, the domino hanging around his neck broke.
Reiner frowned.
What is this? Some kind of amulet?
The goblin priest laughed so hard that he was out of breath, like a broken bellows.
The Goblin Tyrant who had been sitting behind him seemed to have lost his patience. He roared, "Kill that human!"
The goblin priest chanted a spell.
Reiner used his staff to knock a goblin that was approaching to death, then fled towards the cabin, using their house as a cover for himself.
Unexpectedly, this goblin priest did not regard his companions as human beings at all. He blew Reiner away with a fireball and set several wooden houses on fire.
Reiner's butt was burning, he used his traditional Chinese medicine and lowered his head to put out the fire.
Seeing the goblins coming from all directions, Reiner set fire to drive them back while shouting at the top of his lungs: "Junis!"
As soon as he finished speaking, a fireball shot towards the goblin priest, but was deflected again by the mysterious power.
This also successfully attracted the attention of the goblin priest.
However, the adventurers who were tied up just now had their ropes quietly cut by Nora. They picked up the weapons piled aside and began to resist.
The Goblin Priest roared in frustration: "Cunning humans! Big guy! Go and catch them! I don't need you anymore!"
The clumsy one-eyed ogre ran toward them.
The Goblin Priest used Fireball to counter Junice's Waterball.
Reiner climbed onto the roof to avoid the goblins surrounding him.
Now the entire goblin tribe has been in chaos.
The goblin priest's attention was also completely attracted, and there was no one-eyed ogre around to interfere.
The timing is perfect.
He lay on the roof, dodging the arrows, and then swung the staff of fire with all his might.
Martina rushed out.
She brandished her two-handed sword and strode towards the unsuspecting goblin priest.
"Ahhhhh! Demihumans! Cunning demihumans! Priest!" The frightened Goblin Tyrant rolled off the throne.
The goblin priest finally came to his senses.
It chanted a spell and prepared to cast a fireball to attack Martina.
But it was a step too slow, and Martina's two-handed sword slashed directly at its neck.
The goblin priest's head fell down, and his tall body fell backwards weakly.
Martina shook the blood off the sword in a cool manner.
"Well done." Reiner praised him. He was lying on the roof and could see everything clearly.
The goblins realized something was wrong and ran back one after another.
