Chapter 391 Find That Guy As Soon As Possible (2/2)

"It's okay. We can take our time looking for him and visit our old friend here." Reiner casually plucked a leaf and wiped the blood from his wrist. "Let's go and find that Horace for trial."

"Also, thank you for coming all the way to save me." Peggy lowered her head slightly, and her ears drooped. "I'm in trouble again. I'm sorry."

"This matter is not your fault." Reiner reached out and touched Peggy's fox ears, and said softly, "Let's go and avenge them. When you find them, interrogate them first, and then kill them when you are done."

Paige nodded, she whistled, and a horse came running over.

She climbed towards the horse's back a little clumsily, and Reiner couldn't help but support her with his hands. Her belly was getting bigger and bigger, and her movements were not very flexible.

Peggy reached out to Nora: "Ride together? Or do you want your benefactor to hold you?"

"Let me ride with you. Reiner is not honest at all." Nora jumped onto the horse nimbly. She sat behind Peggy and touched her bulging belly with her hand. "Peggy, go and help me feed the baby."

Paige nodded. "Glad to help."

Reiner quietly followed them flying beside them, carefully observing the surrounding situation while listening to their conversation.

"You should be almost there too, right? Eight months, just one or two more months." Nora held her bulging belly with both hands.

Peggy tilted her head and thought for a moment. "Well, if it's ten months as my benefactor said, then there's still one month and eight days left."

"It's been just over a month and you're still working outside every day." Nora touched her fox ears.

Peggy nodded. "I have to find something to do. Oh, and there's been a plague in Melode lately. Be careful when you go into the city and try to avoid contact with others."

"Plague?" Nora blinked hard, and the tail behind her stopped wagging.

Peggy nodded: "Well, a plague suddenly broke out in the entire southern part of the continent.

The plague develops quickly, with high fever, headache, vomiting, rapid breathing, and heartbeat. In more serious cases, you may become unconscious and have hallucinations... I hope you and my benefactor will be more careful."

"Got it." Nora tapped Reiner's head gently. "Pay attention to hygiene, man. If you get infected, it will be a disaster for everyone. Who knows what Martina, who is so hungry for it, will do? She might even risk the plague to play games with you."

Reiner nodded and looked at the two animal-eared girls sitting on the horses.

He wasn't too worried about Nora getting sick. After all, she had S-level endurance and her physical fitness was much stronger than that of ordinary people, so she was unlikely to be infected.

As for Peggy, her endurance is only C, which is not particularly outstanding.

Plus there's a fetus in the belly...

"Is there any treatment available now?" Reiner looked at Paige.

Peggy shrugged. "No, I heard the doctors were at a loss as to how to deal with this sudden plague. If you're infected, the only thing you can do is probably leave it to fate."

"I'll release a wind field to isolate the air. You two should stay by my side. Don't go anywhere and don't touch anything." Reiner shook his head and continued, "No, we should go ahead and settle the score with that guy after this plague is over."

Peggy shook her head: "It's okay, everyone. The worst-hit areas are in the south. Melody's situation isn't that serious. There are only a few cases so far. I was exaggerating."

Besides, I want revenge as soon as possible, I can’t let that guy escape, otherwise I’ll let them down…”
