Chapter 454: A Mother's Worry When Her Son Travels Afar (2/2)

"No, Hercules, you are too young now... No, it can't be said to be young, it should be said that you are young." Reiner shook his head, feeling very worried.

Heracles said seriously: "I am not afraid of robbers on the road."

This child's temperament is very similar to Martina's, and so is her tone of voice; she is always serious and emotionally stable.

Martina was very serious before she awakened, and then she gradually became abstract.

"There are more dangers than just bandits on this road. You might encounter other dangers as well." Reiner looked out the window. It was already completely dark. "Even if we really want to leave, we should at least wait until morning."

As soon as Reiner finished speaking, the door opened.

Martina was carrying a shovel and a sack on her back, with a lot of mud on her face. Seeing her smiling so happily, Reiner could probably guess that she must have dug a lot of radishes with Eudora the day before.

"What a bountiful harvest! Eudora and I found a remote spot, overflowing with sweet and crispy radishes..."

She suddenly noticed that everyone seemed to be in the living room, so she looked at Hercules and asked in confusion: "What are you all doing standing at the door?"

Reiner replied: "Hector is planning to leave home and have an adventure."

Martina was stunned for a moment, then asked, "Didn't you say we have to wait another two years?"

"I don't want to wait anymore."

Reiner continued, "You should wait a little longer and learn from your mother for another two years..."

Before he could finish, Martina interrupted him and said, "Let Hercules go, but remember to come home when you have the chance."

Although Martina was reluctant, she still chose to respect Hercules' decision.

Reiner looked at the two of them and was speechless for a moment.

When he was ten years old, he was still thinking about how to play computer secretly, but in the end, Hector was ready to go out and gain experience on his own.

To be honest, Reiner admired the kid's courage.

It's true that a young calf is not afraid of a tiger.

Martina was also very skilled and daring. She dared to let her ten-year-old child go out alone...

"Sigh... okay, okay, be careful outside." Reiner reached out and patted Hector's shoulder, then produced a magic stone necklace from his storage space and handed it to him, "You wear this.

If you ever encounter an enemy you can’t handle or a problem you can’t solve, just call me dad.”

Hector took the necklace, put it on his neck, and hid it under his armor: "I remember it."

As soon as he finished speaking, Lalith suddenly appeared.

She split off a small Lelis and handed it to Hector. "I'll be half your mother. Take this portable mother with you. If you encounter anything you don't understand, you can ask me. I can give you some advice."

Hercules took little Lelith and put her on his shoulders.

"Then I'm leaving."

Martina waved at her: "Be careful."

Then she seemed to remember something and strode towards Hector, handing him the sack. "Take these radishes and eat them on the way. Remember to wash them in a stream before eating them."

Hercules took the sack full of radishes and put it on his shoulder. He took one last look at Reiner and Martina and said goodbye: "Goodbye, Mom and Dad."

After saying that, he walked forward without looking back and gradually disappeared in the moonlight.

Martina looked at the direction she left, quietly wiping away her tears...
