Chapter 57: Trapped by Human-Robot Teammates (2/2)

I saw light green resentful souls gathering at the top of the necromancer's staff again.

Reiner raised his staff to interrupt, but two skeleton knights had already rushed to him, so he had to give priority to dealing with the skeleton knights.

A sharp and piercing roar rang in his ears, causing Reiner's eardrums to sting unbearably.

He looked up in a trance and saw the flames burning towards him.

In desperation, Reiner released a large amount of water to protect himself and Martina.

Even so, half of Martina's body was burned by the flames.

Then the Skeleton Knight broke through the water barrier and hit Martina's knee pad with a hammer.

Reiner heard a crisp sound and stumbled back a few steps.

Martina was injured.

The situation took a sharp turn for the worse.

Reiner used the water stream to wash away the Skeleton Knight beside him, then quickly stepped forward to pull Martina out of the water ball, holding her hand and running towards the alley on the side of the street.

Seeing that the Skeleton Knight was still chasing him, he didn't care whether the ruins would collapse or not. After chanting, he used the Earthquake spell.

In an instant, the surrounding stone houses collapsed one after another.

Unexpectedly, the soil submerged by the water turned into a quagmire due to the high-frequency and strong vibrations, trapping the Skeleton Knight.

Rainer didn't have time to think about it, he just ran wildly holding Martina's arm.

Maybe the goddess of luck favored him.

I ran for a long time but didn't step into the trap.

Reiner found a hidden stone house, broke open the rotten wooden door, roughly checked the surrounding environment, and hid inside when he saw there was no danger.

Martina was seriously injured, and her helmet was covered in sweat.

Reiner released a stream of water to wrap her up and first performed the simplest treatment, temporarily separating the skin and clothes. Taking off clothes immediately after being burned would tear off the skin and flesh.

"Don't move, I'll help you undress."

Martina shook her head in a struggle and whispered softly, "No..."

"Now is not the time to be shy. I've already touched you, and you're still afraid of me seeing you? Don't move." Reiner took off her armor one by one and threw it aside.

Then tear off the clothes that are stuck to your skin little by little.

The two rabbits were now burned, one red and one burnt.

Reiner uses hydrotherapy.

Seeing that she hadn't untied the loincloth underneath, Reiner planned to help again.

Martina nervously pushed Reiner's hand away and untied the straps herself: "I can do it myself."

Reiner took a quick glance and saw that only the outer thigh was burned, so he gave it a simple treatment.

The burned skin gradually turned a strange color.

I guess there might be scars left in the future.

At the same time, a voice came into Reiner's ears: (I was seen naked by Reiner again...)

Reiner laughed in anger.

It's already late, and there's still time to care about this

The earlier a burn is treated with hydrotherapy, the more effective it is.

"You humans are not reliable at all. You abandoned your teammates so easily. We were about to grab that knight's hand." Martina muttered to herself.

Reiner nodded as well.

Because of that beastly behavior, they almost died there.

Fortunately, he escaped temporarily.

Damn it, he never stopped.

The most urgent thing now is to think about how to escape.

They didn't have any food with them, so it was impossible for them to stay in this stone house forever...

Seeing that the burn was almost healed, Martina slowly stood up, picked up the burnt tattered pieces of cloth, and then wrapped them around herself little by little.

"Don't use this thing anymore. It's dirty and unhygienic. If you can make it back alive, I'll buy you something more convenient."

Martina remained silent.

(It will be easier for you to take it off...)

Reiner ignored him.

He looked down at Martina's injured knee: "How's the leg? Look at the leg."
