Chapter 61 Nora's Apology (2/2)

Martina narrowed her eyes, thought for a moment, and then said, "When my leg injury heals, I'll go out and challenge you. If you lose, you'll be my slave for a few days. Do you dare?"

"What if you lose?"

Martina said confidently, "I can't lose, Reiner. I can throw you out with one hand."

"There's always a chance of something happening."

"I've said it before, as long as you can win, I'll do whatever you want with me."

"Really? Then you can wash up and wait for me."

Martina's face flushed instantly, and she gritted her teeth and cursed, "Filthy! Vile! I'll beat you up until you're black and blue!"

Reiner gave her the middle finger.

Just as the two were arguing with each other, there was a knock on the door.

Daisy walked quickly into the bedroom and whispered, "Reiner, there are two people outside the door whom I haven't seen before. Should I open the door?"

Reiner stood up and went to open the door.

It turned out to be a craftsman from the armor shop, holding a tape measure in his hand.

"Why is it you?"

"I'm here on Lord Dimas' orders to take your and that centaur's measurements. I plan to make you a set of fine, close-fitting plate armor. I heard Lord Dimas has even invited nuns from the church to enchant the armor..."

"Do you want money?"

"Master Dimas has come out."

Reiner quickly welcomed him in: "Come in quickly!"

So this is the compensation Dimas mentioned yesterday.

That's awesome.

The craftsman scratched his cheek, then measured Reiner, and then Martina.

"I heard that you took the initiative to stay in the ruins and kill the elves in order to protect the team's retreat. You are so brave, sir. I swear that I will forge the best plate armor for you." The craftsman said with admiration.

Reiner was speechless for a moment.

How did the rumor get spread like this?

It's like he volunteered.

If it weren't for the human-machine trap, who would be willing to stay in that dark and ghostly place like the ruins?

A few hours later, the craftsman got the size and left the hut without looking back.

Martina asked with some joy, "Can we have armor again?"

"Probably."

"Great!" Martina jumped up on one leg.

Reiner stretched and walked towards the bedroom.

He didn't sleep well last night and planned to catch up on some sleep.

As soon as I entered the room, I saw Pinola sitting on the edge of the bed, looking a little uneasy.

(I actually attacked my master yesterday, and although I didn't hurt him... I think this is too much.)

"How are your eyes?" Reiner asked.

Nora was having a mental breakdown at the time, and it wasn't her fault.

"I still can't see anything, but I don't think it's a big deal." Nora slowly got up, closed the small window, and pulled the curtain.

Then he walked to the door and locked it.

Then she plopped down on the bed.

"What's going on here?"

"I'm sorry I almost stabbed you with a dagger yesterday. I didn't mean to."

"Of course I do."

Nora clutched the bed sheet tightly, suppressing her shame and saying, "I cannot forgive myself. Master, please punish me. I will accept it willingly, no matter what."

Reiner narrowed his eyes and asked, "Really?"

Noila understood his hint and said hurriedly, "I'll go take a shower first. I didn't take a shower since yesterday. I just changed my clothes."

"It's not too late to wash it later."

Reiner pushed her along...
