Chapter 92 A Successful Attack (2/2)

Reiner raised his staff high, and a golden fireball gradually condensed at the top.

Junice and Martina also joined the battle.

While Reiner continued to compress his magic power into the fireball, Aliana suddenly started chanting while holding her staff.

In an instant, the surrounding pine trees seemed to be given life and began to sway.

The bark on their bodies gradually cracked, and finally two slender arms grew out of it. Then the roots transformed into thighs and were pulled out of the ground.

The tall tree monsters caused the ground to tremble slightly with every step they took.

They paused for a moment, then attacked the surrounding orcs.

The rough and hard arms can easily penetrate the bodies of orc warriors, then lift them up and throw them out.

For a moment, the pressure on the barbarian warriors was relieved a lot.

Connor looked up at the dryad and muttered to himself, "What...is this?"

Reiner didn't have time to explain in detail. He looked at the fireball on the top of the staff, which had turned purple-blue, and shouted, "Sir, we should retreat!"

He then extended his staff and shot a fireball at the orc horde.

There was a loud bang, and a heat wave swept in from afar.

Everyone looked at the vortex of flames raging in the tribe and couldn't help but exclaim in amazement.

The orcs were the same. Although winter was cold, they only felt warm in their hearts at this moment...

About a quarter of the bunkers were fully ablaze; they were destroyed.

"Retreat!" Connor waved his battle axe, and with the help of Martina and the tree spirit, he cleared a bloody path for everyone.

Reiner looked around and saw that his wives were still asleep, so he quickly grabbed them and started running.

Aliana commanded the tree spirit to help cover the retreat, and then she also ran away with her staff, following behind Reiner.

And she was like a naughty child, laughing excitedly all the time.

They didn't know how long they had been running madly, but they finally rushed out of the forest full of orcs.

Reiner was terrified all the way, afraid that he would accidentally leave any of his wives behind.

Junice clutched her staff and panted, "I thought I was doomed. Everywhere I looked, there were orcs... I was so scared."

Nora and Martina, who were used to the storm, didn't even breathe.

Nora: (If I had been the one conducting the reconnaissance, I would have definitely hidden myself after killing the orcs. I would not have been discovered so quickly.)

Martina: (Even if I'm alone, I can lead Reiner through!)

Reiner wiped the sweat from his forehead.

He doesn't want to take such a risk next time.

Aliana stood aside, her back straight, looking cheerful. "Well, was I particularly helpful just now? Aren't these tree spirits formidable?"

Reiner nodded vigorously: "It's very impressive...Teach me when you get back."

"Hmph, you should first learn the Radiant Barrier thoroughly. I just saw that you tried to chant several times but failed to release it." Aliana narrowed her eyes.

I was simply unskilled at the time, and was in a hurry to escape, so I couldn't use it for a while.

But fortunately, Martina knocked the approaching orc away with one shield...

Connor counted the number of people, and his frown gradually relaxed. He excitedly hugged Reiner and shouted, "Not a single brother was left behind. This victory is truly unprecedented. The situation was so dire..."

"Hey! Let's go to the pub and have a good drink. I'll treat you tomorrow!"
