Chapter 477: Harsh Environment (1/2)

"Actually, there's nothing special about this door." Reiner patted Martina's shoulder.

The horse racing girl puffed out her cheeks, as if she was upset with her father.

Lalith patted her shoulder and whispered, "You can come here with Reiner more often in the future. Maybe I will miss you when I don't see you, this annoying guy."

Martina curled her lips: "What you said..."

Just then, a familiar green-haired elf landed beside them.

She carried a silver bow and arrow on her back. When she saw Selina, she nodded slightly and said, "Everyone, please follow me. I will lead you into the sealed door."

Lalith called out to Reiner and whispered, "Master, wait a moment. Before entering the sealed door, you must first use a barrier and then use wind magic to maintain breathing. Otherwise, the harsh environment will quickly kill everyone."

"Then does it mean that the king is not inside the barrier and there is nothing there?" Fran asked seriously.

Although her expression was cold, her eyes were clear and foolish: "The king is a red dragon! He is not afraid of fire at all and can even swim in magma."

Nora kicked her lightly twice. "Dragons should be able to breathe, right? You don't know wind magic, so you'll suffocate if you leave the barrier, right?"

Laelis nodded: "Madam is right. To be on the safe side, it is better not to leave the barrier."

After saying that, she turned to look at Martina and specifically instructed her, "You too, don't leave the barrier, or you'll be roasted to charcoal."

Martina nodded: "I understand, I'm not stupid."

Reiner raised his hand, and a barrier with a diameter of nine meters quickly formed, gently covering everyone.

In just a few seconds, the strength of the barrier reached its peak.

The green-haired elf reached out and touched the edge of the barrier, exclaiming, "How could he be so skilled in using our light magic? Amazing..."

Reiner had heard this kind of exclamation countless times and he was used to it.

Martina raised her hand, chanted a spell briefly, and then continuously pumped fresh air into the barrier.

Nora closed her eyes and sniffed. "Martina's magic smells like white bread."

Reiner also smelled it and found that it did have a faint smell of bread.

Mother-in-law Selena walked into the barrier and cast wind magic to test the strength of the barrier. This time the wind blade was blocked.

"It's quite powerful. It seems you haven't been slacking off during these ten hours. Reiner, your magical talent is far superior to mine."

Reiner nodded. "I wouldn't dare to say the latter part, but I do practice magic whenever I have free time."

He saw that his mother-in-law was not giving her all.

Lelith said that his current control over demons is roughly equivalent to that of an elf stargazer who has lived for a thousand years.

My mother-in-law is the number one elf stargazer in the Fault, who has lived for three thousand years. She should be able to break through the barrier easily.

Serena murmured softly, "There's nothing to be modest about. I can see that."

After these words were spoken, the green-haired elf looked at Reiner carefully again, but she did not speak, as if she was thinking about something.

Reiner turned around and looked at Lelith, and whispered softly: "Okay, we are ready, let's enter the sealed door now."

The green elf did not drill through the barrier. She led the way and flew towards the black elemental ball in the center of the sealed door, and then stopped steadily one meter away from the elemental ball.

"No one has ever entered the sealed door. We only know that the environment inside is extremely extreme. Please be careful. I will wait here for you to come out."
