Chapter 17: Get a Spiritual Pet
Xianyue suddenly opened his eyes and realized that an unwelcome guest had come to his own Riyue Peak.
The strange breath was too obvious, and it carried a foul odor that made Xianyue disgusted. There was no way Xianyue could ignore it.
He sat up, waved his hand gently, and a water mirror appeared out of thin air.
Appearing along with it was the snow-white fox in the water mirror, which was trying hard to climb towards the top of the Sunrise Peak.
Xianyue recognized the fox's origin at a glance, and then frowned: "How come you, a little cub from the Moon Fox Clan, came to Qingxiao Sect? Why are you here so awake in the middle of the night?"
The more he looked at it, the weirder it became. Xianyue forced a little spiritual power into the water mirror, and soon a voice came from the water mirror:
"Why are there so many barriers on this Sunrise Peak? There is another level after each one. Humph! When I climb up, I must find Xie Liuyin and bring back Mingzhu's wooden bracelet."
"Damn Xie Liuyin, she actually dared to steal Mingzhu's things. I must teach her a lesson so that she won't dare to bully Mingzhu again!"
The little fox in the water mirror was crawling hard while muttering to itself, its tone full of dissatisfaction towards Xie Liuyin.
Xianyue, who was originally somewhat curious about the little fox's sudden intrusion, now had a cold look in his eyes.
As soon as Xianyue had a thought, Ada, Asi and Awu, who were patrolling in the Yuri Palace, immediately reacted.
So not long after, the little fox, who was originally trying to climb to the top of the mountain with all his heart and wanted to sneak into Xie Liuyin's house to help Xie Mingzhu find the wooden bracelet, was caught by several wooden puppets.

But Ada and the others didn't listen to the little fox and carried him all the way to Xianyue.
After throwing the little fox to the ground, Ada and the others left the house without saying a word.
The little fox was so angry that he jumped up from the ground and bared his teeth at Xianyue: "Do you know who I am? How dare you catch me? Let me go quickly, otherwise when my father comes, you will all be in trouble!"
The little fox said this arrogantly, but Xianyue laughed disdainfully: "When did the Moon Fox clan produce an idiot like you? You're already in my hands, and you still dare to threaten me?"
He raised his hand and tapped the little fox's forehead. The little fox wanted to dodge, but was unexpectedly controlled by a force and could not dodge at all.
After Xianyue's spiritual power passed into the little fox's body through his fingertips, he suddenly found that he could not speak!
The little fox was terrified and wanted to escape from the house, but what surprised him even more was that he didn't even have the strength to push open the door.
Xianyue admired the changing expressions on the fox's face for a while, then reached out and grabbed the back of his neck and lifted the little fox up.
The little fox waved its claws in the air several times, wishing to leave a few more scars on Xianyue's hateful face, but Xianyue dodged them every time.
"Considering that you haven't caused too much trouble to the Sunrise Peak, I will only punish you for one month. During this month, you must be my disciple's pet and be a good spirit. If you dare to mess around, the punishment will be postponed." Xianyue announced in a cold voice.
The little fox cried a few times in dissatisfaction, and it didn't look like it would obediently serve as Xie Liuyin's spiritual pet.
"Hmph, don't be so hasty to yell. I will tell your father about this. Besides, being my disciple's spiritual pet is something that other demons would never beg for. Don't be so ungrateful."
Xianyue doesn’t care what the little fox thinks. No one can change what he has decided anyway.
But thinking that her cheap disciple had only recently begun to draw Qi into her body, Xianyue was worried that this little fox would play tricks and hurt her.
After thinking about it, he left a spell on the little fox. If he dared to attack Xie Liuyin, the spell would make him suffer.
After doing all this, Xianyue knocked the little fox unconscious with ease.
Then he picked up the little fox and threw it to Ah Da who was guarding outside the door: "Give him to Xie Liuyin tomorrow and let her raise him for fun."
A Da didn't ask any more questions, just agreed and left with the little fox.
So the next morning, Xie Liuyin just got up from the bed and was about to practice sword when he was stopped by Ada.
He held a fluffy white little fox in his arms and handed it to Xie Liuyin: "My little master, this is a pet that I caught for you. I'll let you keep it for fun and to entertain yourself."
Xie Liuyin raised his eyebrows, somewhat confused about Xianyue's thoughts.
But she looked at the little fox twice more and thought that it was really beautiful and there was nothing wrong with keeping it, so she took it.
"I understand, but will such a small fox run away by itself?" Xie Liuyin was a little worried.
In her past and present lives, she had never raised even an ant herself, so she really didn't know how to take care of a spiritual pet.
"Young master, don't worry. There is a barrier on the Sunrise Peak, and the spirit pet can't get far. Ah Liu will be responsible for taking care of him, and the young master just needs to play with him when he is free."
When Ah Da said this, the little fox in Xie Liuyin's arms stared at him madly, but Ah Da didn't react at all, as if he didn't see it at all.

She handed the little fox directly to Ah Liu, and went to the Sun Cliff with the sword.
Ah Liu followed Xie Liuyin and asked, "Young Master, do you want to give this fox a name?"
Xie Liuyin thought for a moment and replied, "Let's just call him Snowball. It's an easy name to remember."
"Okay, then this fox will be called Snowball from now on." Ah Liu agreed immediately.
She narrowed her eyes slightly, and when the little fox tried to open its mouth to bite her, she pinched its mouth.
As a wooden puppet, Ah Liu naturally learned the identity of the little fox from Ah Da, and he also knew that he came to the Sunrise Peak to steal things from his master.
Although wooden puppets are not supposed to have emotions, let alone temper.
But this is the first time she has a master in many years, and no one can hurt her master.
