Chapter 47 Elementary School Students

I went to the toilet again.

Zhou Yi grabbed his clothes and almost had someone urinate on his shoes, but he reacted quickly and dodged.

Zhou Yi washed his hands after coming out of the restroom, and the corner of his mouth twitched involuntarily.

In his opinion, Zhang Qiang and his gang's methods were... those of elementary school students.

Is this what they call bullying? Zhou Yi thought to himself, this kind of tactic is far inferior to Su Qingjiao's.

Just as he was thinking of Su Qingjiao, he ran into her in the corridor as she came down the stairs. Her face showed some concern: "Zhou Yi, how are you?"

"I heard that Zhang Qiang has been giving you trouble lately."

“Zhang Qiang has a relative who is in the leadership at the school, and his family is rich and powerful. If he holds a grudge against you, you may be forced to drop out of school.”

"Those who had offended Zhang Qiang before were all forced to drop out of school."

Su Qingjiao took the initiative to walk alongside Zhou Yi, seemingly to remind and care for him.

But Zhou Yi knew this woman wouldn't be so kind as to remind him.

Zhou Yi was too lazy to say anything more to Su Qingjiao. This woman always had the ability to turn black into white, and she always had the ability to act like she was the weak one and make people sympathize with her.

"None of your business, what are you pretending for?" Zhou Yi quickened his pace, not wanting to get entangled with Su Qingjiao.

Su Qingjiao seemed to have more to say, so she had to jog to keep up with Zhou Yi's pace: "How can you talk to me like that?"

“Zhou Yi. I’ve noticed you’re becoming increasingly cold and ruthless. I’m just concerned about you; I just can’t bear to see you forced to drop out of school.”

Hearing this, Zhou Yi stopped in his tracks, raised an eyebrow, and looked at Su Qingjiao thoughtfully: "So what are you trying to say?"

Seeing Zhou Yi stop, Su Qingjiao, thinking she had him under her thumb, raised her head and said to him with a condescending tone:

"You know, only I can stop Zhang Qiang from retaliating against you!"

"But you've hurt me so much lately, why should I help you?"

“Actually, Zhang Qiang has disliked you for a long time. I’ve been mediating between you all these years. Otherwise, given his temper, you would have dropped out of school long ago.”

"Zhou Yi, Zhang Qiang is only refraining from targeting you because of me. If you want Zhang Qiang to stop targeting you, you can only rely on me! I can help you!"

A mocking smile played on Zhou Yi's lips. It was clearly Su Qingjiao who couldn't help but want to get back together with him, yet she pretended to be arrogant.

Zhou Yi glanced at her with a sarcastic and disgusted look.

Too lazy to say a word to Su Qingjiao, he turned around and left.

Su Qingjiao watched Zhou Yi's coldly turned back, a hint of anger appearing on her face: "Zhou Yi, you stop right there! You've gone too far. Don't come crying to me later."

Footsteps came from behind.

Zhang Qiang stopped beside Su Qingjiao, his gaze fixed on Zhou Yi's retreating figure with a sinister look: "Jiaojiao, did Zhou Yi upset you again?"

Su Qingjiao glared angrily at Zhang Qiang, not wanting to talk to this good-for-nothing.

How come we never noticed how useless Zhang Qiang was before?

They're resorting to petty tricks! They can't even handle Zhou Yi!

Su Qingjiao said resentfully, "It's all your fault. You always brag that you're the boss of the school, that even the teachers have to give you face, but you're the only one who bullies others."

"Last time you tried to hit Zhou Yi with a ball, but you ended up hitting your own man instead."

“These past few days, all your attempts at revenge have failed. Do you know that Zhou Yi is becoming more and more of a nuisance to me because of this?”

Zhang Qiang looked somewhat embarrassed and annoyed: "How was I supposed to know Zhou Yi was so agile?"

"It's strange, how come his reaction speed is so fast?"

Dissatisfied, Su Qingjiao threw down a sentence and tried to leave: "Sometimes you should look for the reasons within yourself. If you're not good enough, just admit it and don't make excuses to blame others."

Zhang Qiang reached out to stop Su Qingjiao. He quickly reassured her, "Jiaojiao, you can't say I'm no good."

He paused for a moment.

A fierce look flashed in his eyes: "Don't worry, I'll show you whether I can do it or not."

"Don't blame me for being too harsh on Zhou Yi then."

Su Qingjiao originally wanted Zhang Qiang to be careful not to hurt Zhou Yi.

But when she thought about how coldly Zhou Yi had treated her just now, she made up her mind to teach Zhou Yi a lesson, and nodded with a grim expression.

Just before school ended, Zhou Yi's phone suddenly received a WeChat message.

The message was from the counselor: "Zhou Yi, come to the resource room near the old teachers' building after school. I found some materials for you."

The old teachers' building was located in the southeast corner of the school. Later, when the school built new classrooms, the old building became a place for storing miscellaneous items.

The counselor usually takes good care of Zhou Yi. Misunderstanding that he was a student from a poor family, the counselor would go to the dean to ask for an extra application form for students from a poor family. The counselor would also take Zhou Yi with him on some research projects.

Zhou Yi had no reason to doubt the counselor's WeChat messages.

After school, Zhou Yi walked towards the old teachers' building. The old teachers' building was abandoned mainly because it was located in a remote area and was a bit far from the teaching building.

Now that the old teachers' building has been moved, apart from a few people who like peace and quiet, very few people go there anymore.

The archives room was on the first floor. Zhou Yi stood outside and, seeing that the door to the archives room was open, went inside.

"Why are you so late?"

The counselor's voice came from inside the resource room, sounding a little impatient.

Hearing his counselor's voice, Zhou Yi went inside: "Teacher, I'm sorry I'm late."

The windows in the archive room are very high and there is only one small ventilation opening, so the lighting is not good. When you enter the archive room, you feel that the light changes abruptly.

The archive room was about the size of a classroom, with more than a dozen iron shelves filled with a lot of useful or perhaps useless materials.

Perhaps because no one had been here for so long, the archives were covered in dust, and even the doorway was covered in cobwebs.

Zhou Yi walked a few steps toward the rows of bookshelves.

suddenly,

Then, with a loud "bang," the iron door to the archives was slammed shut by something.

Zhou Yi quickly turned around, and then he heard the sound of a key locking the door.

There's someone outside?!

So someone had locked him in the archives room, huh!

Zhou Yi narrowed his dark eyes, remaining calm and unhurried as he asked, "Who is it?"

There was no response from outside. Zhou Yi chuckled, "If you're so capable, get the counselor's phone and send me a WeChat message. You tricked me into coming here, but you don't even dare to say your name."

"I'm already locked up inside. Even if my identity is exposed, I can't get out, can I?"

"Tell me, why did you lure me here? What's your purpose?"

Those outside only wanted to hear Zhou Yi's angry, pleading, fearful, and cursing voices after he was imprisoned.

But who would have thought that when the people inside realized they had been tricked, instead of cursing and swearing, they rationally analyzed the reasons? That's a bit disrespectful to them.

"Tsk tsk tsk."

A disdainful and smug voice rang out: "You've got some guts. I'll tell you, my name is Zhang Qiang. If you don't know who I am, just go around the campus and ask around."
