Chapter 139 Answering Your Understanding of Human Nature
The barrage looked at the teacher's confusion and started to laugh wildly.
"She definitely doesn't know that Boss Ye used smoke to suppress the strange students last night, leaving the smell of smoke on them all."
"This way she won't be able to find the student who entered her room last night."
"But if we get caught once, the teacher will be more cautious than before, and it will be difficult for Boss Ye to go there again."
"That doesn't matter, we still have Brother Xiu!"
"Indeed! I feel at ease with Brother Xiu around!"
Last night, Yin Xiu and Li Mo stayed in the classroom all night, trying to verify whether they could go to Ye Tianxuan's space by staying in his teaching building for one night.
The result was failure.
When he opened the classroom door and looked outside at dawn, he saw that there were still monsters around him, no players, and no Ye Tianxuan.
He could only go to the classroom and wait for an early student to do his homework before going to class.
The barrage told Yin Xiu what happened to Ye Tianxuan last night, and explained that there was information in the classroom and dormitory.
In order not to alarm the teacher, Li Mo was still hidden in Yin Xiu's sleeve during class today, and then he would go to the classroom and dormitory to check on the situation after class.
During the entire class, Yin Xiu was distracted and focused on Li Mo in his sleeve, listening to him talking about random things to distract himself.
But today's class is a little different from yesterday's.
In the silent classroom, the teacher's cold gaze roamed throughout the room. Her voice was icy, "I'm going to call on a student to answer the question on the blackboard. If you don't answer correctly... you're not worthy of being my student."
As soon as her voice paused, all the students in the class tensed up unconsciously, sat up straight, and focused their attention, taking it extremely seriously.
After all, everyone knows the consequences of being deemed unworthy of being her student by this teacher.
All the students were facing a formidable enemy, except Yin Xiu who was still distracted in the last row.
The teacher's gaze swept across the classroom and, unsurprisingly, landed on Yin Xiu, instantly becoming furious.
How dare someone stand there in a daze right under her nose!
"You! It's you, stand up and answer the question!" The teacher's somewhat angry gaze instantly focused on Yin Xiu and pointed at him.
Yin Xiu didn't hear it and was still in a daze, so he didn't respond. The whole classroom fell into deathly silence for a moment, and all the students were sweating profusely under the teacher's increasingly gloomy expression.
In the end, it was the girl next to Yin Xiu who silently nudged him and whispered nervously, "Teacher...Teacher is calling you."
Yin Xiu was distracted for a moment before he noticed the changes around him.
He pinched his sleeves and looked up at the teacher standing on the podium. Even though he was caught distracted, he still looked back calmly, "What's wrong?"
The teacher stared at him with gritted teeth and pointed at the words on the blackboard. "Come on, answer this question."
Yin Xiu silently looked at the words written on the blackboard. He didn't recognize any of them.
He raised his hand and casually scratched the hair behind his ear. As his sleeve passed by his ear, Li Mo's voice faintly came from inside, "Answer, your understanding of human nature."
Yin Xiu calmly raised his eyes to look at the teacher who was glaring at him on the podium, and said calmly: "Teacher, I have no humanity, so I can't understand."
His answer instantly made the students' faces turn pale. They trembled and had never expected Yin Xiu to answer like that. It was tantamount to seeking death.
"Inhuman..." The slender figure on the podium laughed darkly, "Don't you think you are a human being?"
"I'm human, but I haven't fully understood human nature yet, so I'm here to take classes. Is there anything wrong?" Yin Xiu stared at her lazily. Unlike other students, he didn't show any fear at all. "Or, teacher, do you think we can understand this without you teaching us? Then why would I need you here?"
He sensed the murderous intent emanating from his teacher, and naturally responded with murderous intent.
Since there was no rule that prohibited killing teachers, he had no reason to be afraid.
The teacher stared straight at Yin Xiu's calm face, then slowly smiled and said, "You don't have to answer. In my opinion, you have already learned human nature. You are more human than any of them."
Her eyes were meaningful. When Yin Xiu thought of the so-called anthropology she mentioned, he felt that this sentence did not seem like a compliment.
But the teacher did not pursue the matter any further. Instead, he waved his hand and asked him to sit down.
The class in the classroom continued. Yin Xiu was very concerned about the previous sentence and unconsciously began to pay attention to the lessons coming out of the teacher's mouth.
"Human nature is to give up when it's time to give up, to move forward when it's time to stick to one's principles, and to stop when it's time to move forward. It doesn't expect any hope, doesn't pray for the so-called light, resists effort, follows one's own instincts, falls into the swamp, and is not afraid of death."
“When faced with difficulties, don’t struggle, just let it go and give up on yourself.”
Along with her light voice, Yin Xiu felt dizzy again.
Everything this teacher said was contrary to Yin Xiu's understanding, whether it was his appearance or his consciousness, they were completely opposite.
So, what did she mean when she said he was more human than these weirdos? He was a weirdo among humans, a human among weirdos?
As I was thinking about this, the dizziness suddenly came over me again, accompanied by a long tinnitus in my mind.
His left hand suddenly rose uncontrollably and covered Yin Xiu's ears. Some sticky liquid penetrated into his ears, blocking the sounds.
The sound of surging liquid poured into the ear canal, and it seemed that the whole head was filled with sticky sounds, but it slightly distracted Yin Xiu from the teacher's voice.
"I just... seemed to have accidentally gone to class. Why didn't you call me?" Yin Xiu quickened his breathing beside his ear, feeling inexplicably uncomfortable.
A small tentacle emerged from his sleeve and said innocently, "I called you, but you seemed unable to hear me."
"Didn't I hear it?" Yin Xiu was stunned, frowning. This was not a good sign.
"Yeah... I've been calling you, but you ignored me..."
Li Mo's answer made Yin Xiu look complicated. He lowered his eyes and touched the tentacles on his sleeves. "Next time you see anything wrong with me, call me immediately. Don't hesitate."
The pollution in this copy is always silent and people will not notice it. If Li Mo was not around, Yin Xiu would be affected invisibly and probably would not even know it.
"Okay..." The tentacles touched his face and could feel Yin Xiu's displeasure.
Not only did he feel the invisible weirdness in this copy, but Yin Xiu did too.
I can feel something, but I can't grasp that sense of danger.
"Forget it." Yin Xiu lowered his eyes and took a deep breath. "Go on and tell me the story of the three frogs you saw earlier. I haven't finished yet."
"Oh." Li Mo leaned close to Yin Xiu's ear and told him stories from books he had picked up before to distract him.
The teacher at the podium was slowly explaining the lesson while keeping his eyes fixed on Yin Xiu in the back row.
In the entire dark and eerie classroom, a faint light emanated from Yin Xiu.
She could clearly see the changes in Yin Xiu.
His soul had gradually been contaminated by black, and his consciousness was slowly falling into a long sleep, but he was still a little short of falling into a complete sleep.
But it doesn’t matter, there are still several days for him to slowly indulge in this.
As for the little accident that happened next to him...it wouldn't have much impact.
