Chapter 237 Mental Illness Level 3

Chapter 237 Mental Illness Level 3

Xiaoxiao held his hand and walked with him along the corridor of the orphanage.

This orphanage, which was vague in Yin Xiu's memory, was much more dilapidated than he had imagined. It had been in disrepair for many years, with broken glass windows, peeling walls, and moss covering the ground. It was obviously leaking rain and wind. It was not a normal place for children to live at all.

But for them who are homeless, it is their only place to live. Even though it is dilapidated, it still makes them feel at peace.

For those who are homeless, belonging is the thing they desire most.

They want to have a house that can accommodate both of them, the brother and the sister. Wherever they are will be their home, so having a house is enough.

"Brother, I have learned how to knead dough. Although my sister said that my palms are too small to knead it, I can make delicious steamed buns if I knead it slowly." Xiaoxiao stretched out her hand and shook her tender palm in the air. She didn't know what she had done recently, but her fingers were a little peeling and cracked.

Yin Xiu took a deep breath, grabbed her small hand and squeezed it, "Just let your brother do it from now on."

"It's okay! I was about to say I want to be independent!" Xiaoxiao pulled her hand back stubbornly, "I can help my brother too. I kneaded the dough for his breakfast today."

Xiaoxiao smiled and took Yin Xiu's hand, and couldn't wait to pull him to the orphanage kitchen.

Before I even got there, I heard a few kids giggling around a small table. "There are a few extra steamed buns today! Hey! They're mine!"

"I want some too!" Several children rushed over to grab it, "I'm not full yet!"

"These steamed buns are small and ugly. They won't fill you up. You guys can eat them."

The leading child was strong, sturdy and tall. He was full, so he grunted and threw the steamed buns into the arms of several other children.

No matter where, there is always a leader in a small group, and the other children have to look at his face. A few small steamed buns thrown to them are a sweet treat for them who are not full, and they stuff them into their mouths without saying a word.

As he was wolfing down his food, he caught a glimpse of Xiaoxiao and Yin Xiu appearing at the door.

The innocent little face just now turned angry. She pointed at the children angrily and said, "How dare you steal the buns I made for my brother! I made them!"

"Who knew you made it? We share food here, so what you make is yours." The leading child immediately stood up arrogantly, not taking Xiaoxiao seriously at all. "And I've already left two for you. It's good to have something to eat."

His cold and stern expression made his attitude obvious, and the other children were unable to speak.

Among all the children, only this brother and sister do not listen to him, and he has long disliked them.

Usually Xiaoxiao wouldn't mind just picking up two candies, but today she got up early in the morning to make something for her brother, and it was taken away quietly.

Xiaoxiao gritted her teeth, tears welling up in anger. She grabbed the broom and ran over, "If you ate it, spit it out!"

Even though she was young, she knew when to protest. If she acquiesced once, they would go even further the next time. She would never allow this to happen a second time.

She had just picked up the broom and was about to rush over when a hand suddenly reached out from the side and stopped her.

"Brother! Why are you protecting them!" Xiaoxiao glared at the grinning children with discontent in her eyes.

Yin Xiu calmly took the broom from her hand and said lightly, "You can't use this. It's too light."

Xiaoxiao was startled, then turned around and saw Yin Xiu rummaging through the cabinet next to her. She wiped her tears and asked, "Brother, what are you looking for?"

"I don't know. Just find a tool that can prevent them from eating. If that doesn't work, I'll just fan their mouths." Yin Xiu muttered. He really couldn't remember the structure of this orphanage and couldn't find a suitable tool.

"Brother, I get it!" Xiaoxiao's face lit up with joy, and with red eyes she ran to the cabinet on the other side and took out a pair of pliers from it, "Brother, use this!"

Her smile was innocent and romantic. "If you pull out my teeth, I won't be able to eat!"

As soon as these words came out, the children nearby were shocked and looked at Xiaoxiao with their eyes wide open in disbelief. How could she say such cruel and horrifying words?!

"Okay, that's it." Yin Xiu nodded and went over to take the pliers.

The other children were all terrified when they saw this, but they didn't dare to leave because the tallest child was still staring at them with some defiance.

If they run away here, the leader of the kids will teach them a lesson later. They have been teaming up to rob the siblings’ things all along, and they can win in a group fight!

"Before you stole my candy, now you're stealing my food. What else will you steal from me in the future?" Yin Xiu stared at the child indifferently, his eyes cold. "I'm teaching you a lesson. If you dare to do it again, I'll be even more ruthless than this time."

As soon as he stepped forward, several children rushed over and tried to hold Yin Xiu down.

When he first arrived, Yin Xiu was still very thin, malnourished and hungry, but recently, in order to run the orphanage, he was arranged to go out to work secretly. With a fixed meal and labor force, although he was very tired every day, his body was strengthened and he was no longer like before, unable to move when being held down.

After struggling to break free from a few children, he pounced on the child standing at the back and wrestled with him.

"Come on, brother!" Xiaoxiao found a rolling pin from somewhere, rushed over while they were fighting, and hit the leader of the children with the pin.

The child grimaced in pain, and Yin Xiu took the opportunity to press him to the ground.

A pair of pliers instantly bit the child king's front teeth. Yin Xiu stared at him coldly, "If you move again, your front teeth will be gone."

Compared to the scars that would heal after a while, the missing front teeth that could be seen by everyone when he opened his mouth would be more of a blow to someone like him who was the king among children.

The child on the ground had anger in his eyes. He never expected that one day he would be bullied by the person he had always oppressed.

He glanced at the children beside him. Their eyes were fixed on him as he was pinned to the ground. With his front teeth clamped, he couldn't give any orders. It was a great humiliation.

"Don't mess with us again. If you mess with us again, I will pull out your teeth again." Yin Xiulian stared at the other party, and without waiting for the child king to give in, he suddenly exerted force with his hands.

It is impossible to let him go, it will only make him become more aggressive. Even if he is scolded later, he must do this to let people know that they can never bully him again.

A painful scream burst out from the child's mouth, heartbreaking.

But it wasn't the cry of a child, it was more like the voice of an adult.

Yin Xiu was stunned and took a step back. His eyes quickly turned red, the scene kept twisting, and even the child's face in front of him was distorted.

He subconsciously turned his head to look in Xiaoxiao's direction, but found that the orphanage had disappeared. He was now standing in the blood-red corridor of the hospital, holding a scalpel in his hand, and at his feet was a player whose teeth he had knocked out with the scalpel.

Hearing the screams, countless players emerged from their rooms and focused their attention on Yin Xiu.

Yin Xiu was stunned for a long time before he came to his senses.

Level 3 of mental illness: Hallucinations will occur and the person will uncontrollably attack those around him.
