Chapter 35 Hold tight to the brother next to you
With each knock on the door, the fear in the waitress's voice grew as she got closer and closer to the woman.
"Hello..."
"Room service..." The waitress's breathing was trembling. She knocked on the door tremblingly, lowered her head and dared not look to the side.
The woman was only one step away from her.
The room was silent and there was no response, so she could only walk to the next room.
Under the woman's gaze, she slowly walked to her side and knocked on the door in front of her, trembling in the cold. "Hello... Room service..."
"Excuse me...was that the towel you called for just now?"
The corridor was silent for two seconds before a woman's cold voice drifted faintly from behind him, "It's me...who asked for...the red towel."
After a brief silence, the next second, all the players heard the waiter's shrill scream coming from outside the door. The scream stopped abruptly in an instant and turned into a whimpering sound as if the throat was torn, which sounded extremely creepy.
"Uh...Help..."
“Save…me…”
The waiter's voice was heard outside the door. She shouted in a hoarse voice and knocked on the player's door.
"Open the door... please save me..."
"Please... open the door..."
Rule three: If you hear strange noises in the corridor at night, never open the door.
At this moment, the players didn't even dare to get out of bed, let alone open the door. They huddled in their quilts in fear and stared at the door, fearing that the door was too thin and would be accidentally broken, allowing the monster outside to come in.
Cries for help and slapping sounds passed through each player's room one by one.
In the silent night, such a creepy sound echoed throughout the entire corridor. The players were only separated from the invisible scene outside by a door. Everyone was extremely terrified and could only pray that all this would end quickly.
The sound of "dong dong dong" slowly echoed deep in the corridor. Just as the painful sobbing knocks on the door were heard, a creaking sound of the door opening was heard in the night.
This sound instantly startled the other players in the corridor.
The rules clearly state not to open the door, yet someone still does it?!
The waiter, covered in blood, stared blankly at the little girl who came to open the door, and for a moment he didn't know whether he should continue speaking.
To be precise, it was a little girl whose head had become ugly and twisted, and whose body was so rugged that she could hardly be recognized as a human. There was an evil light in her eyes, and she glared at the waiter fiercely, and a hoarse growl came from her throat, obviously in an attacking state.
The waiter swallowed, slowly took a step back, and prepared to leave.
As soon as she stepped back, the little girl, who had turned into a monster, pounced on her, pressed her to the ground, and began to tear and bite her hard.
The screams rang out again, even more shrill than the first time.
It is known to all players that the little girl will turn into a monster at night, and she is extremely cruel. This waiter has run into a tough opponent.
The gnawing sound echoed in the night for a while, and Yin Xiu's figure slowly appeared at the door.
He yawned, leaned sleepily against the door, and looked at the figure gnawing randomly in the corridor.
It was a small creature, dressed bright red, with a twisted body and covered in black hair, just like the townspeople when exposed to the sun during the day. It was similar to what the mayor said, the curse of the townspeople and the little girl came from the same source, that woman.
"Are you full?" Yin Xiu asked in a lazy voice, "Come back and sleep if you're full."
The little girl's twisted head turned around and she stared at Yin Xiu straightly, her eyes bloodshot and half of her hand in the corner of her mouth.
After pausing for a few seconds, she tilted her head back and put her hand into her mouth, then turned around and continued to bite the waiter violently.
Yin Xiu dozed off against the door with his eyes narrowed, while the little girl was being torn into pieces in the corridor. The scene was so weird that no matter how many days the players in front of the screen watched it, they still felt a little uncomfortable.
"Yin Xiu is really tolerant of weird things... He just watched her eat without changing his expression."
"I can only say that Yin Xiu has a really good mental state. This little girl wouldn't be able to survive in anyone else's situation."
"He's good at raising weirdos. The little girl is only obedient to him. If it were someone else, they would be lying in the corridor now."
"Yin Xiu's style of painting in the dungeon is completely different from that of ordinary people."
The players outside the screen sighed, and Yin Xiu yawned again with a sleepy look on his face.
He couldn't sleep well outside the dungeon, nor could he sleep inside it. Strange things had been bothering him every night for the past three days, but tonight they finally didn't come, and then the waiter knocked on the door. He was almost used to being woken up by various situations at night.
After gnawing for a while, the little girl burped and turned around contentedly to crawl back to Yin Xiu's feet. Her slender, black-haired hands with claws grabbed Yin Xiu's trouser legs and babbled a few words from between her sharp teeth, "Toilet... pee!"
"..." Yin Xiu seemed to be lost in thought. She really treated him as her mother, didn't she?
He raised his eyes and looked towards the end of the corridor.
Rule 4: The toilet is at the stairs. If possible, try to go with someone accompanying you. You can go alone, but don't pay attention to any sound.
When he came out, there was a white fog lingering in the corridor, obstructing his vision. Now looking towards the other end of the corridor, he could not see anything except the fog. It was hard to say what he would encounter on the way to the toilet.
"Brother...toilet!" The little girl pulled Yin Xiu's trouser leg again, her voice a little anxious. After her body turned into a monster, her small body bent into a ball, with long and thin limbs and black hair all over her body. She looked like a small animal and even spoke incoherently.
"Okay, I'll take you to the bathroom."
Everyone in front of the screen watched as Yin Xiu calmly bent down and picked up the dark and strange monster on the ground, then turned around and stepped into the white mist, walking towards the stairs.
"Damn, he really dares to go there!"
"No, he was so brave! He actually held the little girl who turned into a monster without batting an eyelid!"
"Hiss... I just came out of the dungeon and watched his livestream today. Is he always this brave?"
"Yes, always very brave."
"Walking through a corridor like this in the middle of the night with a monster in my arms gives me goosebumps just looking at it!"
"Brothers, I'm a little scared and don't dare to watch it."
"Don't be afraid, hold on to your brother next to you and watch together!"
"My roommate was sleeping! I was watching it secretly by myself! Now I feel so scared!"
"Don't be a coward! Go look under his covers! If you're scared, hug your roommate!"
"That makes sense. I'll go."
"Fuck, he really dares to go..."
Amid the noise of the barrage, Yin Xiu held the little girl in his left hand, pressed the hilt of the knife with his right hand, and stepped step by step into the corridor filled with white mist.
His footsteps echoed in the silent corridor as he walked along the corridor and through the rooms step by step.
There are no house numbers on the doors on the second floor. Every door I pass by is exactly the same. There is a portrait hanging opposite each door, but the painting is blurred in the fog and difficult to distinguish.
Yin Xiu estimated the distance in the corridor and thought he should be almost there, but there was still no sign of the stairs in front of him.
He stopped and looked back.
On one side of the corridor were doors, on the other, paintings, lined up one after another, so identical they hardly served as landmarks, and the fog was so thick that there was no end in sight. Looking back ahead, he saw the same scene. Standing in the middle, it seemed the same whether he moved forward or backward.
Yin Xiu looked down at the little girl in his arms. She was sleeping soundly on his chest. She was smacking her lips after eating and drinking her fill. She was quiet and had no abnormal reaction.
He continued walking a little further and calculated the time. He had been walking for more than a minute.
How come it took more than a minute to walk to the end of the corridor? Obviously something went wrong.
As he walked, Yin Xiu finally saw the vague outline of something in his foggy vision, but the moment he saw what it was, he stopped and did not move forward.
What appeared in the white fog was not the shadow at the stairs, but a person.
