Chapter 39 Just tell me if it looks good or not
Yin Xiu lazily raised his eyes to look at Zhang Si, who was at the front of the players, "Why?"
His question made Zhang Si choke.
"Why?! This little girl is crucial to clearing the dungeon. We can't let you take care of her all by yourself. What will happen to the other players?! Are we even going to clear the dungeon?"
Yin Xiu drooped his eyelids and raised his chin slightly, "If you want to take it away, come and take it yourself?"
Zhang Si paused, glanced cautiously at the little girl who was concentrating on fiddling with her pigtails, and took a hesitant step forward. "Little sister, do you want to come with us? We'll take you to find your mother."
As soon as he spoke, the little girl immediately glared at Zhang Si, her face wrinkled in displeasure, and she began to grin, "Get out!"
Zhang Si was frightened and stepped back. The little girl had left a lot of psychological trauma on the other players in the past three days, so they were still a little afraid of this little sister.
On the other hand, Yin Xiu reached out and touched the little girl's head, whispering, "Don't be rude."
"Oh." The little girl nodded obediently, "But what if a weird uncle wants to kidnap me?"
Yin Xiu continued gently, "If a bad guy tries to kidnap you, remember to resist and bite his head off."
"Okay!" The little girl immediately smiled like a flower.
The other players were sweating profusely. What was Yin Xiu trying to teach her? Was he trying to kill them?
Yin Xiu raised his eyes and glanced at Zhang Si, then turned calmly and went to the cafeteria to eat.
Seeing that forcibly taking the little girl away failed, Zhang Si changed his strategy and began to speak to Yin Xiu, "You can take her with you, but we have to complete the mission together. She is the only prerequisite for passing the level. If you completely deny us access to her, our mission progress will not be enough and we will fail to complete the dungeon. Do you want us all to die here?"
"Then you guys wait, I'll be there after I finish my meal." Yin Xiu finished his meal and sat down to eat.
Zhang Si wanted to say something, but Zhong Mu shooed him aside fiercely, "Go away, go away, don't disturb us while we're eating. If you want to do the task, do it yourself!"
Zhang Si's face suddenly changed. The newcomer who disobeyed orders turned around and hugged Yin Xiu and started to show off. He really didn't take them, his seniors, seriously at all.
If Wang Guang hadn't died, these people would never have had the chance to take control.
He looked at Yin Xiu who was eating, then at the quiet Li Mo and the little girl. Knowing that this group of people was not easy to deal with, he stepped aside and said, "Okay, then everyone, sit down and wait. We'll set off together after the four of you finish your meal."
Even if they are unhappy, they can only wait.
When they thought that Yin Xiu would die that night and that it was only his own time that was wasted, they felt better.
"Uncle, look, my brother braided my hair into pigtails. Do they look good?" The little girl, who had just had a midnight snack, was not hungry yet and did not want to eat in the cafeteria. She just held her little doll and spun around in the crowd of players, happily showing off her two beautiful pigtails.
The little girl is cute normally, with long black hair, big eyes, and a dazzling little red dress, just like a doll.
But since her mother was not around for the past three days, she didn't take care of herself much. This morning, Yin Xiu held her and braided her hair into a pigtail. Now she is so happy that she is flying with joy, and her eyes are shining with anticipation for praise.
Zhang Si took a look at the two pigtails that her small hands were pulling at, and curled his lips in disdain, "Why would a grown man braid someone else's hair? What's so good about it?"
As soon as he opened his mouth, the little girl's face instantly darkened, and she stared at Zhang Si with cold eyes, "Isn't it pretty?"
Zhang Sihan was sweating, "It looks good...it looks good."
"Hmph!" The little girl turned around angrily and went to ask other people.
She walked around the field, and any player who was even slightly dissatisfied was threatened by the little girl in a low voice, and in the end she received unanimous praise.
With full of praise, she happily turned back to Yin Xiu, lay down at the table, holding her little face, and stared at Yin Xiu while he ate.
After waking up, Yin Xiu, who looked tired and sleepy while sitting there braiding her pigtails, was truly a great brother.
"What's wrong?" Yin Xiu asked in confusion as he was suddenly stared at by the little girl again.
The little girl shook her head and said, "Nothing. After my brother finishes his meal, we will go to grandma's house to find mom."
"Okay." Yin Xiu nodded gently and continued eating.
The other players stared at the well-behaved and clever little girl in front of Yin Xiu with complicated expressions. They couldn't understand why the little girl was so docile only to Yin Xiu. Could the monster be so partial?
After breakfast, Yin Xiu took out the second note from his mother that he had written down from his arms. Before going out, he briefly reviewed the rules.
Rule One: Do not go to any monster houses on the way to Grandma's house.
This has been experienced and is well remembered.
Rule 2: Clean up grandma's house and find grandma's diary.
After thinking for a moment, Yin Xiu turned to look at the little girl, "Do you remember where your grandmother's home is?"
"Of course!" the little girl nodded excitedly.
Now Yin Xiu almost understood why the other players had to wait here for the little girl. They really couldn't do it without her, because she was the only one who knew where grandma's house was.
Rule Three: Go to the basement and get your usual blue pill.
Yin Xiu seemed to be lost in thought, glancing at the little girl from the corner of his eye, "Are you taking your medicine?"
The little girl nodded and said, "I didn't eat it before. My mother gave it to me after I touched the altar. I haven't eaten it for three days."
Yin Xiu recalled a short reminder on the second note from her mother, which ended with the little girl remembering that the medicine she took regularly was her favorite color.
“Is your favorite color blue?”
"Of course not!" the little girl quickly rejected. "I hate the color blue the most!"
Yin Xiu looked at Rule Three again meaningfully.
The little girl was told to take the blue medicine, but her mother's instructions were contrary to the rules.
But since the rules state that the little girl should take the blue pill, she has to find the medicine.
Rule 4: You must leave town at night.
There aren't many rules on the note. If she's fast enough, the little girl can complete all the rules tonight. As for whether she can pass it tonight, that's another matter.
"Okay, let's go." Yin Xiu put the note in his pocket, reached out and took the little girl's hand and prepared to set off.
The other players also stood up immediately. Even though they were reluctant, they had to let Yin Xiu become the leader of the entire team. After all, he had a little girl in his hands.
A group of players were getting ready to set off. Before leaving, Yin Xiu asked Li Mo to take off his coat and cover the little girl with it, and he honestly abided by the rule of not letting other people in the town see the little girl.
The town was very quiet during the day, and most of the townspeople stayed in their rooms and did not come out, so there was no one outside.
When passing by the statue in the square again, the players were very cautious, fearing that they would be targeted by a woman again, but nothing happened today and the square was still shrouded in gloom.
Everyone followed the little girl's instructions and arrived smoothly at a house on the edge of town, her grandmother's home.
Although the house is old, it is very clean. The flowers and plants in the yard are neatly maintained and beautiful. There is not much dust and debris in front of the door. At least it can be confirmed that my grandmother lived here before.
"Grandma!" As soon as she reached the door, the little girl jumped out of Yin Xiu's arms and ran to the door, knocking happily, "Grandma! I'm here!"
As soon as her hand touched the door, it creaked and slowly opened.
The scene inside the house stunned all the players at the door.
