Chapter 7 Rules
"Do you want me to copy it for you?" Yin Xiu asked meaningfully with his eyes narrowed, his tone lazy but slightly threatening.
The little girl hesitated, kneading the rabbit in her arms, raised her eyes to look at Li Mo, nodded reluctantly, and muttered, "Okay..."
Her overly obedient appearance in front of Yin Xiu stunned the players outside the screen. She actually agreed? Was she so easy to talk to? Was this still the ferocious monster they had seen?
Some people turned back to the scenes in other rooms in disbelief. Because of violating the rules, the little girl was turning into a ferocious monster and tearing the player's limbs. The more tragic scenes in other rooms were basically little girls killing everyone. The level of bloodiness was outrageous and creepy to watch.
Turning back to Yin Xiu's room, the little girl was sitting obediently on the sofa holding her doll, and Yin Xiu was sitting beside her with a pen and paper copying the content for her. The scene was peaceful and harmonious.
Even the little girl who didn't get angry or bite just sat there timidly, and her well-behaved appearance made her look much cuter and more pleasing to the eye.
"Why is Yin Xiu's dungeon different from others?"
"How should I know? I always feel like the monsters in the dungeon are very obedient in front of him."
"I don't believe it! I don't believe that all the monsters can become so obedient in front of him! There must be one who can punish him!"
"I don't believe it either! The first time I played this game, I was so scared by this little sister that I stayed in my room for the whole day! Why on earth is this happening? Why is she so well behaved now?!"
"I'm feeling a little unbalanced. Damn! Why wasn't I such a well-behaved little girl back then?"
The comments were full of complaints, but everyone's attention was still focused on Yin Xiu's room.
"Let me think about how I should summarize what your mother left for you." Yin Xiu was more cautious. He would not completely restore the contents of the note, lest the copy would also become a copy, so he simply summarized it.
One, absolutely don’t go out.
As long as you stay in your room and don't come out, you can basically eliminate the possibility of going out.
Second, don’t look in the mirror.
He looked back at the house. At least there was no mirror in the living room, and there probably wasn't a mirror in the little girl's room either, otherwise she would break the rules at first sight. But at least there was definitely a mirror in the bathroom.
He wrote: Go to the bathroom less often.
Third, don’t open the door to anyone and don’t let them find you.
This can be achieved by staying in your room and going out less.
4. Eat every day.
Although it says that you have to eat every day, eating one meal a day is still considered a meal, and eating less can also reduce the number of times you go to the toilet.
5. Be sure to sleep in your own room at night.
6. Three days later, I received the package that my mother left outside the door.
After carefully recalling the little girl's rules, Yin Xiu wrote down the following points for her:
Eat one meal a day, go back to your room to sleep after eating, go out less during the day, and not go out at night.
The little girl held the short line of words on the note and fell into deep thought.
This is to torture her.
The only difference between her and someone in prison is that she can go to the toilet from her room during the day... No, people in prison still have three meals a day.
"Brother, is this what my mother asked me to do?" The little girl asked Yin Xiu repeatedly with the note in her hand, looking entangled.
"Yes." Yin Xiu nodded calmly and closed the pen cap. "If you do this, your mother will be back in three days."
The little girl's expression was unpredictable. She was not a human, and Yin Xiu was definitely not a human either.
"But eating only one meal a day is torture..." She whined and tried to protest.
Yin Xiu touched her hair with a heavy face, feeling helpless, "There's nothing I can do. Your mother just wants to abuse you."
The little girl pinched the rabbit doll's neck tightly, her face turning pale and blue.
Obviously the note her mother left for her was not like this!
She had complaints, but she didn't dare to speak them out.
"Okay, now hurry back to your room." Yin Xiu ignored her impetuous mood indifferently, picked her up and threw her back to the room, and reminded her, "If you are hungry or need to go to the bathroom, call me and I will open the door for you."
As he said that, he quickly closed the door and locked the little girl in the room.
Facing the closed door, the little girl was stunned. She was such an innocent and pitiful little girl locked in the room, only allowed to eat one meal a day and not even allowed to go out! She really came to jail! She had never suffered such injustice from other players!
The little girl took a deep breath, squeezed the rabbit doll in her arms tightly, and her eyes became ferocious on her young face.
If she gets the chance, she will definitely bite off Yin Xiu's head, bad brother!
But now...
The little girl rubbed the rabbit in her arms blankly, and felt the invisible chill spreading outside the door, so she shrank her head obediently.
Revenge is a long-term thing. It doesn't matter. All the little girls in the player's room are part of her. She was defeated by Yin Xiu, so how could she be defeated by other players? She should go and vent her anger now!
Not long after Yin Xiu threw the little girl back into the room, the screams of players began to rise and fall from other rooms in the corridor.
He indifferently put away the paper and pen. After dealing with the little girl, it was time to deal with the next one.
Although Li Mo, who was sitting in the corner of the room, did not make a sound to interrupt the conversation with the little girl, his presence was not low at all.
That gaze seemed to be stuck on Yin Xiu, coiling around him like a snake, unable to be shaken off.
Now the little girl has gone back to the house, and they are the only two left in the living room. When Yin Xiu looked up, he could see Li Mo sitting upright on a chair in the corner, staring at him with his usual smile.
That smile was too straight and standard, with the upward curve of the lips remaining unchanged. If you looked at it for too long, it would even produce a bit of an uncanny valley effect.
Yin Xiu has always been wary of this man of unknown origin and doesn't want him to appear around him, but it is difficult to keep him out, especially now that they have entered the dungeon and are nominally roommates.
The two stared at each other, neither of them speaking.
After a moment of silence, Yin Xiu looked away first and broke the silence: "I know you can't see the rules, so you can't deal with the dungeon."
The man raised his chin slightly, waiting for his next words.
"I won't ask you anything about you, and I'm not interested in who you are."
"The current situation is that you opened the door and put me in danger. I entered the dungeon and dragged you with me. If you want to get out of this dungeon smoothly, you have to listen to me."
His voice was soft and lazy, not like a discussion but a statement.
No matter how strange and dangerous the man opposite is, as long as he doesn't know the rules, he will not be able to move forward in this copy, and the result will be that he will be trapped in this copy.
In this situation, Yin Xiu is still the superior and can take the lead.
"Okay." The man agreed with a smile, without thinking, as if he hadn't listened carefully at all.
This feeling of ease makes him more like a superior than Yin Xiu.
"Also..." Yin Xiu turned his head and met the man's gaze. Just one glance, and it was as if there was an instant reaction of emotion in the depths of the other's pupils, making him restless.
This kind of close scrutiny really made it impossible for anyone to relax, even Yin Xiu felt the same way. "Could you please stop staring at me?"
Yin Xiu's annoyance made the man's mouth curve even more sharply, "Maybe this is not possible."
The creepy feeling emanating from him was hard to conceal. Whether it was his dignified posture, his long-lasting smile, or his gaze, he was like a hunter lying in wait for an opportunity. He did not move, but he never took his eyes off Yin Xiu.
Sometimes, when he stared for too long, the slight surge in his throat and the sound of excitedly swallowing mucus made Yin Xiu's back chill.
From the first moment Yin Xiu saw him, he was on alert. Because he never let down his guard, the other party was also in a hunting state, always staying by his side and monitoring his close-range preparations.
It's like walking through the forest and passing a bear. Then the bear sees you and its eyes light up, and it starts drooling and follows you, following you and staring at you.
You know you're being targeted, but you never know when it will strike.
Thinking that this tension would continue until the end of the dungeon or even longer, Yin Xiu still hoped that the other party could restrain themselves a little.
"Then at least, don't stare at me when I'm sleeping." He slowly lowered his demands and took a step back.
The other party thought for a few seconds, and the smile on the corner of his lips deepened. "I won't stare at you, but I have to stay next to you."
