Dragon Academy.
"Young Master, why are you skipping school again! If the elders find out and tell the clan leader, you'll be punished again!"
Long Zhenzhu stood at the foot of the wall, looking up at Long Qianling sitting on the top of the wall.
Long Qianling waved his hand: "What are you afraid of? If I'm punished, it'll be me. What are you afraid of? If you don't come up here, I'm leaving on my own."
As soon as Long Qianling finished speaking, he made a move to jump over the wall.
Dragon Pearl quickly interjected, "Wait, wait, of course I'm going too!"
"Then why don't you hurry up and come up?" Long Qianling raised an eyebrow and smiled.
Long Zhenzhu didn't care about anything else at this point and quickly climbed over the courtyard wall.
The two successfully scaled the wall and escaped from the Dragon Academy, arriving at the market.
It was already dark, but the market was brightly lit and bustling with activity.
Various lanterns were hung high, illuminating the entire street. Long Qianling, with excitement on her face, led Long Zhenzhu through the crowd, looking around and touching everything with great curiosity.
She was so bored staying in the academy every day. She heard that today was the Dragon Clan's lantern festival, which happened only once every ten years. She couldn't miss it and had to see it for herself.
Suddenly, Long Qianling saw a huge lantern with a lifelike phoenix painted on it. She exclaimed, "What a beautiful lantern!"
Seeing her happy, Long Zhenzhu smiled and said, "This is the main lantern of this year's lantern festival. It is said that only the most skilled craftsmen can make such an exquisite lantern."
"Indeed, it is no ordinary object." Long Qianling nodded in admiration.
Long Zhenzhu pulled her arm and pointed to the riverbank not far away.
"Young Master, let's go take a look over there."
Long Qianling followed the direction she was pointing and looked over there. He saw that it was unusually lively, and he immediately became interested.
"Walk!"
The two stepped into the crowd, and their figures quickly disappeared.
"Sigh..." Long Ling originally wanted to go over, but there were too many people. He finally managed to squeeze out of the crowd, but he could no longer see Long Qianling's figure.
"Where did you go?"
Long Ling stood still and looked around, but all she could see were people.
Their White Dragon lineage was originally far from Dragon Capital, and by the time he arrived in Dragon Capital, it was already dark.
He had originally planned to try his luck at the Dragon Academy to see if he could meet the young master, but unexpectedly, he saw the young master's figure as soon as he passed the street corner.
Fortunately, he had seen the young master during his previous training, otherwise he really wouldn't know what the young master looked like.
After all, the young master rarely appears in front of his clansmen except when he goes to the training grounds or stays in the academy.
While he was struggling to find Long Qianling, the communication scales in his spatial dimension suddenly lit up.
Long Ling quickly took it out and infused it with a trace of his demonic power.
Soon, a pleasant male voice came from the other end: "Ah Ling, where are you? Have you come to the lantern festival yet?"
Long Ling looked around at the bustling scene and replied, "I'm here. Where are you?"
Upon hearing this, an excited voice rang out from the other side: "Then come find me! I'm by the river."
Long Ling thought for a moment and decided to go find him first. After all, Long Qi was from the Black Dragon lineage, and perhaps he could help her find the young master. Without hesitation, Long Ling lifted her foot and walked towards the river.
He walked along, searching for Long Qi's figure.
As he walked, he saw a familiar figure standing under a tree covered with lanterns.
"Aqi!" Long Ling called out.
Upon hearing the sound, Long Qi quickly turned around and saw a joyful smile on his face.
"Ah Ling, you've finally come." He approached Long Ling, took his arm, and pulled him towards the river. "I thought you weren't coming. You've been picking flowers every day these past few days and haven't come to play with me at all. I'm so bored I'm going crazy."
"I've been trying out some new pastries lately, and I got so engrossed in them that I didn't come to see you," Long Ling said, scratching his head a little embarrassed.
"When you make it, you have to let me try it first," Long Qi said with a smile.
"That's natural."
The two smiled at each other and began to admire the beautiful lanterns together.
After a while, Long Ling turned to Long Qi and asked, "Qi, could you help me find the young master?"
Upon hearing this, Long Qi paused, turned to look at him, and then, as if he had thought of something, suddenly broke into a big smile.
"What do you want with the young master? You don't happen to like him, do you? And you want to confess your feelings to him during the lantern festival?"
"How could that be!" Long Ling blushed instantly and hurriedly denied it, "I have something urgent to discuss with the young master! Don't talk nonsense!"
Long Qi chuckled and teased, "Why are you so nervous? I was just saying. But what important matter do you have with the young master?"
Long Ling took a deep breath to calm himself before saying, "I would like to borrow the Dragon Ball."
"Dragon Balls?" Long Qi's eyes widened in surprise. "What do you need Dragon Balls for? They are sacred objects of our dragon clan and cannot be lent to others easily."
Long Ling sighed helplessly and told Long Qi about the little fox.
After listening, Long Qi remained silent for a moment, his gaze falling on him. He knew that Long Ling was kind-hearted, but he never expected that he would want to borrow the Dragon Pearl from the young master in order to save a fox. He really didn't know what to say to him.
However, he still had to help his friend. Long Qi sighed deeply, then patted Long Ling on the shoulder and said, "I see... Since it's to save someone... no, fox, I'll try to see if I can find the young master's whereabouts."
However, the Dragon Balls are sacred objects of the Dragon Clan, and I'm not sure if the young master will lend them to you directly. Once you meet the young master, I'll put in a good word for you."
