Chapter 117 The Vanishing Crab Sticks

After entering the bathroom, Xin Sui washed Leopard and then took a shower herself.

I made Buddha Jumps Over the Wall for Fish Head Man and his gang before, and I ended up smelling like that.

Afterwards, they ran around in the mine tunnels and even rolled in the scorching lava, their bodies already soaked in sweat.

They've all turned into dried salted fish.

After drying the leopard, the little thing turned into a fragrant snowball again.

Xin Sui took a deep breath.

She looked at the time and it was already 7 o'clock, and she and Leopard hadn't had dinner yet.

"Baby, are you hungry? Have some milk to tide you over, and Mommy will make something delicious right away."

Xin Sui poured a glass of milk into the leopard's food bowl.

After watching Leopard suckle for a while, Xin Sui got up and went to the kitchen.

I'm craving steak, so I'll have steak for dinner.

She opened a beef fruit—picked from Xiaoming's botanical garden.

When this fruit is not fully ripe, the flesh inside tastes very similar to beef after cooking.

It looks a lot like the jackfruit from her past life.

Unripe jackfruit can be eaten as a vegetable. When cooked, it tastes almost the same as chicken, and even more tender.

Xin Sui pan-fried two large steaks and grilled two palm-sized cheese oysters.

The main dish was crab noodles.

I'll also have a pork floss and cheese corn fritter as a snack.

Serve with a colorful fruit platter and two glasses of fresh juice.

This dinner is ready.

The leopard was drawn by the aroma and kept circling around Xin Sui's feet, making gurgling noises, clearly extremely hungry.

Xin Sui cut a small piece of steak and fed it to it.

Now, Leopard basically follows her diet.

It eats whatever she eats.

She was initially a little worried, but she clearly underestimated the strength of the leopard's stomach.

Ultimately, it is not a domesticated kitten, but a descendant of a powerful sixth-tier alien beast.

Its stomach is much stronger than hers, its owner's.

It can eat anything she can eat, and it can also eat things she can't eat.

"How about we eat out and enjoy the sea view while we eat?"

The leopard swallowed the meat in its mouth and meowed as if in response.

Xin Sui moved the dining table to the porch.

Delicious food filled the small round table.

The steak was still sizzling, and the cheese on the cheesy oysters had melted and was dripping down.

The air was filled with the aroma of food.

"Come on, tie your little apron."

Xin Sui picked up the leopard and placed it on its special chair, tied a bib around its neck, and moved its food in front of it.

"Eat."

Leopard pounced on the steak, which was bigger than itself, and started tearing into it with gusto.

Their eating habits are both fierce and adorable.

Xin Sui couldn't help but show a doting smile, like a loving mother.

He also lowered his head and started eating.

It's getting late; it must be dark outside by now.

But the place remained as warm and bright as when she entered.

It was as if time hadn't changed.

Not far away, the seawater gently surged, as beautiful as a painting.

It's beautiful here, but it's too deserted and lacks any human presence.

Seeing the host enjoying the food and scenery while occasionally teasing the leopard, the system couldn't help but speak up.

[Host, how can you be so relaxed? Aren't you worried at all?]

"What's the use of being anxious? No matter what happens, taking care of your health is the most important thing."

"Eat when you should eat and sleep when you should sleep. Only in this way can you have the mood and energy to deal with other things."

The system seemed to be deep in thought.

[Really? Then I'm going into hibernation too. Leave a message if you need anything.]

Xin Sui: "?"

"system?"

The system did not respond.

It seems it has indeed gone into hibernation.

Does a system that doesn't even have a physical entity need to "rest"?

She thought only carbon-based organisms needed rest.

While eating noodles, Leopard's little paws weren't very nimble, and he knocked off a crab stick the size of a chicken leg.

Xin Sui bent down to pick it up.

So... where are the crab sticks?

Didn't it fall on the ground? Why isn't it here?

Xin Sui looked around but still couldn't find the crab stick.

That's really strange. Crab sticks can't just disappear into thin air, can they?

"Meow~"

The leopard suddenly let out an urgent cry.

Xin Sui quickly sat up straight. "What's wrong, baby?"

Leopard slapped its little paws on the table, angrily pointed into the empty space, and then pointed to the plate in front of it.

It's clearly making an accusation about something.

Xin Sui looked into the plate and saw that there was more than half a bowl of noodles, but now there were only a few strands left.

A leopard couldn't possibly eat that fast.

Combining this with the crab stick that had just vanished into thin air, Xin Sui suddenly had a guess.

Could the missing food have been eaten by that pregnant dragon turtle?

After all, before she and Leopard arrived here, the only living creature here was the Dragon Turtle.

"System, system, come out quickly, I have something to ask you."

Xin Sui called out in his mind.

The system ignored her.

What happened to leaving a message if you need anything? So she leaves her message and it just goes to sleep, huh?

Xin Sui comforted the leopard and shared half of the noodles from his plate with it.

Then, pretending not to have noticed anything, they continued eating.

They didn't clean up immediately after eating; they just left it there.

"Leopard, let's go for a walk to digest our food."

Xin Sui took off her shoes and walked on the soft, white sand.

With each step, the soles of my feet are enveloped in fine sand, which feels incredibly comfortable.

Leopard was running and jumping ahead, bouncing along.
