Xuan Tu's expression turned cold. "No wonder he specially made a cake for me. So he wanted something from me."
Xin Sui: "..."
What's going on?!
Why are you, a major villain, suddenly acting all sentimental?
Why do you care why I made you a cake? Just eat it. Why worry about so much?
She was increasingly unable to understand the mystical path.
Xin Sui took the cake, scooped out a spoonful, and poked it into his mouth.
"Is it sweet? Is it delicious? Would you like to eat it again next time?"
Xuan Tu: "..."
So, are you going to send me to the Heavenly Book City or not?
Xin Sui asked with a smile and a soft voice.
Xuan Tu's Adam's apple bobbed twice before he swallowed the cake. "Mmm."
Inside the colorful, black passageway.
Xin Sui grabbed one of Xuan Tu's arms and was led by him through the passage.
Suddenly, the ground beneath my feet gave a bumpy jolt.
The spatial passage began to shake, and spatial rifts sprang up erratically in all directions.
"What's going on?"
Xin Sui grabbed Xuan Tu with his other hand and hid him behind his back, using him as a human shield.
To avoid being cut off by a spatial rift that suddenly appears out of nowhere.
Xuan Tu glanced at her two hands wrapped around his arm. "We've encountered a spatial storm."
Is it serious?
Before Xin Sui could even ask the question, a massive spatial blade slashed diagonally towards him.
Xuan Tu led her away in a dodge.
"Hold on tight, or you'll be left behind. Don't expect me to come looking for you."
Xin Sui had already held him tightly without him even having to say anything.
Feeling that simply grabbing his arm wasn't enough, she simply hugged his waist from behind.
In this way, she could hold on tightly while also making him her human shield.
Killing two birds with one stone.
As for Xuan Tu himself, with his abilities, he is unlikely to be easily injured.
Xuan Tu looked at the two hands intertwined around his waist and abdomen, and the corners of his mouth seemed to curl up as if they had their own consciousness.
As Xin Sui watched the various spatial rifts whizzing past her, she felt as if she and Xuan Tu had become two pieces of fruit in a fruit-cutting game.
And there were knives cutting from all four directions.
Horizontal cuts, vertical cuts, diagonal cuts... spatial rifts came at the two of them from all sorts of unimaginable angles.
However, Xuan Tu always managed to guide her through successfully.
Xin Sui hid behind him, her heart pounding wildly from the stimulation.
Despite facing the treacherous path head-on, his heartbeat remained steady.
When the spatial storm finally passed, Xin Sui found that his lungs were feeling stuffy and slightly painful.
I quickly let out a long breath.
Walking through a black hole is fast, but the danger level is extremely high.
If anyone else had been taking care of her, the two of them would definitely have died here.
Suddenly, a white rabbit appeared out of nowhere.
Where did this rabbit come from?
When the rabbit turned around, Xin Sui saw its eyes.
What eyes they were!
Like a collapsing universe, countless stars are falling and spinning within it.
With just one glance, Xin Sui felt as if her soul had been sucked in and began to spin.
"Xin Sui, snap out of it!"
Xuan Tu noticed that the hand that was around his waist had loosened, and he pulled the person in front of him.
Seeing that her eyes were lifeless and she looked like she had lost her soul, he shouted.
The voice, imbued with spiritual power, was like a deafening bell, reaching deep into her mind.
Xin Sui felt himself suddenly plummet, as if his soul had landed solidly.
He looked up and saw Xuan Tu's face hovering above him, so close that he could hear his breath.
Her eyelashes fluttered, and she looked around, finding herself above a city.
They've actually already come out of the spatial passage.
"I just..."
Xuan Tu's cool fingertips touched her brow. "You almost got lost in the black hole just now."
Xin Sui: "I just saw a white rabbit inside, and the rabbit's eyes..."
After a moment's thought, that dizzy feeling returned.
She quickly shook her head, interrupting her recollection.
"rabbit?"
Xuan Tu has never encountered any living creature while traversing the black hole.
However, this does not mean that there are no other living things inside a black hole.
"Go in."
As they landed at the entrance of the Heavenly Book Pavilion, Xuan Tu spoke to Xin Sui.
Xin Sui looked up at the tall building in front of her. She had seen it from the air earlier; it was a building shaped like a book.
The tall gate in front of me is the spine of the book.
She took two steps forward, then turned back, saying, "Don't leave me behind and sneak away by yourself."
Otherwise, she would have to go back by herself.
[Major villain's corruption value -2]
Xin Sui: "?"
Xuan Tu: "No, go ahead."
Upon entering the Heavenly Book Pavilion, Xin Sui was immediately struck by the sight before him.
In the empty hall, a huge ball of light, shaped like a brain, floated in mid-air.
Countless blue streams of information intertwined and swirled within the ball of light, moving at lightning speed.
It appears to be disorderly and chaotic, but in fact it seems to follow some kind of pattern.
She looked at it for a long time but still couldn't figure it out.
Where is the celestial book? Is it inside that ball of light?
People kept going in and out of the ball of light.
Xin Sui then walked towards the ball of light.
When she arrived within the area covered by the light, she instantly entered another space.
Beneath my feet lies a torrent of information, with countless streams flowing through me like optical fibers.
It was so fast that it was impossible to catch.
A book with wings flew to her. "Li Xueli, oh no, I should call you Xin Sui."
Xin Sui was startled, but quickly calmed down.
